Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal, also known as the 'Crown of the Palace,' stands as an ivory-white marble mausoleum situated on the right bank of the Yamuna River in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan (reigned from 1628 to 1658) to serve as the final resting place for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Additionally, the mausoleum accommodates the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. Trip to Taj Mahal by car
Our tour was fantastic. Leder the hotel in Delhi and just over 3 hours we were at the Taj Mahal. Ravi was kind enough to organise the whole trip for us with a lovely driver who safely drove us there and back. We had a personal guide who told us enough to understand the history of the Taj Mahal and kept us safe in the crowd. Overall fantastic experience and good value for money.

Amazing daytrip to Taj Mahal
Booked a daytrip from Delhi to Taj Mahal. Both the agency and driver contacted me via Whatsapp and everything was agreed clearly before the trip. Pick-up was on time from the hotel and even the change of the vehicle with it's register plate number was communicated in advance. Driver Charanjeev was very polite and friendly and naturally spoke also fluent English. Driving was safe and smooth - I could even have a nap in the hectic traffic of Delhi. Also necessary information about the entrance procedures and rules to Taj Mahal were given by Charanjeev. Overall it was a very pleasant day and I can easily recommend this service to other travelers. :)

Excellent Car rental services of Khera Tours
We had hired a car for 4 days from Khera tour operators at New Delhi to travel to Corbett and Nainital ; and are very pleased with their services. The driver uncle Mr. Grover was an experienced driver and was well versed with the mountains and local sightseeing and food outlets. We already had a hotel booking done - but in case you wish to take help for recommendations on good hotels - you can talk to this team. They are genuine and very helpful!

Private Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Guided Tour from Delhi: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Private Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Guided Tour from Delhi cost?
+
Prices start at $10 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Guided Tour from Delhi take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Private Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Guided Tour from Delhi worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Guided Tour from Delhi?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Guided Tour from Delhi suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Guided Tour from Delhi?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Guided Tour from Delhi start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
