Wife's Birthday Cruise
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our private sunset cruise in St. Lucia was one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we stepped aboard, the crew made us feel welcome and took excellent care of us. The views of the Pitons and the Caribbean coastline at sunset were absolutely breathtaking. The boat was clean and comfortable, the drinks and refreshments were great, and the crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They made the entire experience feel relaxed, romantic, and unforgettable. If you're visiting St. Lucia, I highly recommend booking a private sunset cruise. It's the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy the beauty of the island. We would definitely do it again!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the beautiful review! The team is so happy to hear that you enjoyed your sunset cruise and that it became one of the highlights of your trip. It was truly a pleasure having you on board and sharing such a special evening with us. The team really appreciates your kind words, and it means a lot to know you felt comfortable, well looked after, and able to simply relax and enjoy the views. We will be more than happy to welcome you back for another unforgettable sunset in St. Lucia!

Nice time, but overpriced for what the boat is
The boat ride was a great way to see the island. The two guys who led our boat were super nice and told us some fun facts about the island. They had some local rum, sodas, and waters available to drink, which was nice. The boat itself was pretty small and slow versus most boats we saw on the water. The ride felt pretty overpriced for what it was, but we had a nice time and the people were very nice.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed seeing the island from the water and that our crew made you feel welcome while sharing local knowledge while enjoying the complimentary local rum, soft drinks, and water. We appreciate your comments about the boat. The purpose of our sunset cruise is to enjoy the coastline at a slow, relaxed pace while taking in the scenery and sunset. If your preference was for a faster ride, we would have been happy to recommend one of our half-day or full-day charters instead, as those are better suited for guests looking for a higher-speed experience. The boat you selected, Knotty Behavior, is our budget-friendly option. The boat’s size, photos, duration, and pricing are all clearly displayed on the Viator listing so guests know exactly what to expect before booking. For guests looking for a larger vessel, we also offer our 28ft center console, although it is priced accordingly. Based on your 3-star review, it seems the primary concern was the size and speed of the boat rather than the service itself. While we certainly respect your opinion, the boat provided was the exact vessel that was booked. We genuinely appreciate your honest feedback about our crew and that you still had a nice time overall. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to them.

A MUST for Couples on a Romantic Trip
We had an exceptional experience, starting at the dock. Our Captain introduced himself (Glenn), and helped us onto a pristine clean boat. We had a private tour of the north side of the island, and it couldn't have been better, in any way. He took us to see various parts of the island, and gave us a lot of background on the area. The rum on board was delicious, and local, which made it even better. He gave us an option of linking our bluetooth to play our own music playlist on the boat--but we loved his music so we kept the local rhythm going. It was beautiful, romantic, fun, and an absolute must. The boat was comfortable, our Captain was hilarious, and really made it feel like he was part of our family. I had a random question about local businesses, which he gave me some suggestions, so we followed one in particular (the next day) and were blown away. It was one of our favorite stops on the trip. I couldn't recommend this experience more, because even if you had a thought that you might want to go, that means you absolutely need to. It is a MUST. If you can, get Glenn as your Captain, and you're guaranteed to have the time of your life.
Response from the operator: Wow, thank you so much for such an amazing review! Reading this truly means a lot to me. I’m really happy you both had such a great experience and felt like family onboard, that’s exactly the kind of vibe I always hope to create. Glad you enjoyed the music, the rum, the sights, and even the local recommendation! Thank you again for trusting me with part of your vacation, and I really hope to see you both back in St. Lucia again someday.

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Sunset Cruise in Caribbean in St. Lucia: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marigot Bay.
How much does Private Sunset Cruise in Caribbean in St. Lucia cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marigot Bay usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Sunset Cruise in Caribbean in St. Lucia take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marigot Bay is not rushed.
Is Private Sunset Cruise in Caribbean in St. Lucia worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 84 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marigot Bay, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Sunset Cruise in Caribbean in St. Lucia?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Sunset Cruise in Caribbean in St. Lucia suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Sunset Cruise in Caribbean in St. Lucia?
+
Around 29 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marigot Bay can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marigot Bay and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Sunset Cruise in Caribbean in St. Lucia start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marigot Bay within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marigot Bay?
+
On Outty we rank every Marigot Bay experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jeep & Zipline Adventure in St. Lucia, Private St Lucia Drive-In Volcano, Mud Baths & Waterfall, Lucia Private Boat to Soufriere Snorkeling Sightseeing Beach. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marigot Bay?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marigot Bay?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
