It was an average experience at a premium price
Honestly, the tour felt over priced. Our guide is a lovely person and was on time and friendly. However, the tour was a little scattered. The ear pieces did not work well and it was difficult to hear and understand Frederico. We had a lovely time as a family but I was not pleased with the tour v. price ratio. Many thanks
Response from the operator: Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear the experience didn’t fully meet your expectations and appreciate your note about the earpieces—we’ll look into improving this. We value your input and hope to provide a better experience in the future. Please feel free to reach out to us at office@througheternity.com if you’d like to share more details.

Fountains, churches, the Pantheon and more
Our walking tour with Maria Letizia Beuschi was outstanding. The casual, informative walk through churches, the streets, by the ornate fountains, statues and through the Pantheon was incredible. Letizia’s broad and deep knowledge of the architecture, politics, lifestyle and the history of this ancient city was phenomenal. Highly recommended, especially with Letizia.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful feedback! I’m delighted to hear that your walking tour with Maria Letizia Beuschi was outstanding. Her deep knowledge and engaging manner truly bring the architecture, history, and culture of the city to life. We appreciate your high recommendation and look forward to welcoming you on another tour with Through Eternity!

Excellent experience from booking to tour
As the trip to Rome was a surprise to my significant other I hadn't booked anything as I was not sure what we wanted to get up to. When we decided we wanted to do a tour I messaged a few places about booking a tour, but didn't expect any reply as we were only in Rome for 2 days and were asking at extremely short notice (i.e asking for next day!). Through eternity tours were not only the only company to respond to me, but the level of customer service has to be commended. They were fully understanding of our situation and although they couldn't guarantee a spot on a private tour, they went above and beyond to find us a guide for a time that suited us. Major props to Pips who handled the bulk of the booking! We can't thank you enough! As for the tour itself, we were able to tailor the experience exactly to what we wanted. We started at the Colloseum which is not the normal starting point, then saw all of the other attractions that were listed on the tour too, including the roman forum, piazza navona, trevi fountain and a few others. The guide we had (Enrica) was amazingly knowledgable. She was a born and bred Roman, and there was nothing we asked that she didn't have a comprehensive answer for. She was also an excellent story teller and made us laugh a lot! She also took into account our love for gelato and took us to a menagerie of the best gelato places, managing to squeeze in 18 flavours between the two of us in 3 hours! I cannot recommend this company enough to anyone. Even if on their website it said it was too short notice to book, the customer service team really goes above and beyond to accommodate you. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Response from the operator: I feel we were the lucky ones for bagging such nice guests Harry, it was an absolute delight setting up this last minute stroll for you, you were such a pleasure to deal with and what luck that our amazing Enrica was free for you. She enjoyed herself so much, she even went so far as to write me a message as soon as she waved you goodbye to express what a wonderful evening with you she had had. You are right that she is not only a highly skilled and knowledgeable guide, but a super lovely girl with endless energy and fantastic sense of humour, I was so happy it was a success - how many gelato flavours???!!!! I do hope you both enjoyed the rest of your stay and be sure to swing over to Rome again and we can set you up with some more fantastic sightseeing. All my very best to you both. Pips

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Stroll of the Artists in Rome: Best Squares & Fountains Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.
How much does Private Stroll of the Artists in Rome: Best Squares & Fountains Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Stroll of the Artists in Rome: Best Squares & Fountains Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.
Is Private Stroll of the Artists in Rome: Best Squares & Fountains Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Stroll of the Artists in Rome: Best Squares & Fountains Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Stroll of the Artists in Rome: Best Squares & Fountains Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Stroll of the Artists in Rome: Best Squares & Fountains Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Stroll of the Artists in Rome: Best Squares & Fountains Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rome?
+
Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rome?
+
April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rome?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
