Great Guide

Alejandro was a great guide and I leaned a lot about the Art scene in mexico city that never even knew existed. I saw different kinds of street And and some were done ny Alejandro himself. You will learn a lot from Alejandro

Excellent street food tour

Hi, the tour was great and just what we wanted. Daniel was a great guide with excellent English and we experienced some great street food. From our perspective buying our own food rather than having in included in the price of the tour worked really well as we didn't want to eat a large amount of food, but we did want to try lots of different things. Great tour, we really enjoyed it. Thanks.

An authentic market stall crawl experience!

Our wonderful guide Daniel took our family on a fun filled food crawl in the flower market not too far from the city center. We got to experience the local street food scene with added context and perspectives. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone who are adventurous on trying new things but lacks the language skills. Recommended for ~ 1. Anyone who is food curious and want to try a good variety of things in a short time - tamales, tortas, corn stew, sweets, seafood and fruits were the few things we got to sample. 2. Very helpful that the guide can help steer you clear of your allergies or dietary restriction in an authentic setting! Not recommended for ~ 1. While accommodating for some dietary restriction is possible. It is not suitable for anyone with a vegan diet. There are simply too many items you can not eat. 2. We don't recommend this for any hygiene sticklers. All the stalls are clean and the vendors do try their best. But after all its a traditional market with all its charm and nuances.

Incredible experience with Jeesus - food & culture

My friend and I wanted to try some local food and booked this tour, and we would book it again! Our guide Jeesus was fantastic, his English is very good and he brought Mexican culture closer to us! His friend Alejandro was a big help too and showed us around the market. The food was incredible and we took a lot of pictures for memories. We can only recommend booking this tour!

Private Street Food Tour Mexico City - Best rated: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Private Street Food Tour Mexico City - Best rated cost?

+

Prices start at $14 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Street Food Tour Mexico City - Best rated take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Private Street Food Tour Mexico City - Best rated worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Street Food Tour Mexico City - Best rated?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Street Food Tour Mexico City - Best rated suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Street Food Tour Mexico City - Best rated?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Street Food Tour Mexico City - Best rated start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
