Perfect Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvio
Fabulous private tour of Pompeii with an incredibly experienced and insightful guide. Then to Mt. Vesuvio for short hike to the crater. Driver pointed out places of interest and history along the way and on the scenic route back. Stopped at points to take photos.

Strongly recommend
Superb experience - we were picked up directly from our villa in a luxury vehicle. All the logistics were handled for us - the pompeii guide was very knowledgeable and we loved the walk up Vesuvius.

From pick up to drop off- fantastic! John Franco was our driver- punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, lives in Pompeii… Janeirro - licensed archeological guide for Pompeii and Vesuvius- amazing- so knowledgeable, local- great grandfather experienced and survived eruption of 1944… fun, friendly… then Mt Vesuvius- great climb, amazing view… would highly recommend- both care deeply for their town and sharing their knowledge and experience. Great trip to Pompeii & Mt Vesuvius
What an amazing experience! Nello was so friendly & knowledgeable, he kept us entertained during the journey & was a great guide. Patricia, our tour guide for Pompeii, was excellent. You could almost envisage the inhabitants going about their daily business. We had a lovely lunch, which was extremely good value & then set off for our journey to Vesuvius. The hike to the top was worth the effort, just for the views. All in all, a very enjoyable day!

Our tour guide at Pompeii...
Our tour guide at Pompeii and our driver were excellent. There is only one very poor restroom at the base of the hike to Vesuvio. Would recommend stopping before arriving.
