    Wonderful!

As a very experienced world traveler, i have worked with dozens of local guides. Rachel Chen and her Culture Curious team was among the best guiding experiences I have ever had. Over three days, my family (age from 22 to 85) were informed, fed, assisted, and thrilled. Rachel and her team were informed and wise not only about landmark history, but also the intricacies of the Singapore economy and government. Energetic, enthusiastic, charming and wise, Rachel is the “real deal”. I requested proposals for 3 days of touring from three local campaigners. Culture Curious responded promptly with a thoughtful program at a reasonable price. An added bonus was Rachel quickly responding to “local knowledge” pre-arrival questions on restaurants, taxis and special events. If you are planning a trip to Singapore and want to gain an understanding of this unique (and complicated) place. Book your tour with Culture Curious! Enjoy

Response from the operator: Hi Cody. Thank you very much once again for entrusting us with your multigenerational trip in Singapore. It was a great pleasure spending three full days with you and your family, exploring Singapore's storied neighbourhoods, historic sites, and the many facets of our city. We are especially grateful to hear that the family enjoyed the wide range of topics covered throughout the tours, from history and culture to Singapore's social transformation and economic development. Thank you as well for your kind words about the planning and organisation before your arrival. We always strive to make the experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible, so this is greatly appreciated. Most of all, we enjoyed getting to know your family and sharing conversations with everyone. Thank you for your curiosity, engagement, and trust in us. We hope your travels continue to bring the family many treasured memories, and should your journeys bring you back to Singapore in the future, we would be delighted to reconnect and welcome your family once again. Warmest regards, Rachel

    Singapore Walking Tour

it shoulld be a minimum of 4 hours since there is so much to see. Our guide Iris was limitless in her knowledge of Singapore and its history and foitnotes.

Response from the operator: Hi Eli. Thank you for your kind words about Guide Iris. We’re glad we were able to arrange an extension beyond the original 3-hour tour, so you had more time to enjoy and absorb Iris’ insights about Singapore. We’ll be sure to pass along your thoughtful feedback to her. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you again on a future visit to Singapore. Warmest regards, Rachel

    The tour was an excellent...

The tour was an excellent way to start our time in Singapore. Rachell is an outstanding guide and provided us with an overview of all the neighborhoods, the history and the planning of Singapore. We spent time in Chinatown and lived it and then toured the colonial neighborhood. Her knowledge and enthusiasm was exceptional and she provided an excellent first day !

Response from the operator: Hi Julie. Most thankful for your kind review — the pleasure is mine. I’m so glad you enjoyed the overview of Singapore’s neighbourhoods, as well as the insights into our history and urban planning journey. It was a joy sharing the stories and perspectives behind the city with you both. Thank you once again for your generosity and encouragement. Please do reconnect on your future visits to Singapore - I'd be delighted to welcome you back again. Warmest regards, Rachel

PRIVATE Singapore Walking Tour with a Local, Half Day or Full Day: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Singapore.

How much does PRIVATE Singapore Walking Tour with a Local, Half Day or Full Day cost?

    +

Prices start at $112 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Singapore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does PRIVATE Singapore Walking Tour with a Local, Half Day or Full Day take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Singapore is not rushed.

Is PRIVATE Singapore Walking Tour with a Local, Half Day or Full Day worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 53 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Singapore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule PRIVATE Singapore Walking Tour with a Local, Half Day or Full Day?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is PRIVATE Singapore Walking Tour with a Local, Half Day or Full Day suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book PRIVATE Singapore Walking Tour with a Local, Half Day or Full Day?

    +

Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Singapore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Singapore and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does PRIVATE Singapore Walking Tour with a Local, Half Day or Full Day start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Singapore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Singapore?

    +

On Outty we rank every Singapore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Singapore Highlights Small Group Bike Tour on Full-Sized Bicycles, Lion City Bike Tour of Singapore, Singapore River Cruise, Night Garden Rhapsody & Spectra by CYT. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Singapore?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Singapore?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
