A Must Do Food & Cultural Tour
Our guide Pam was amazing on our 6 hour food and local cultural tour of 4 areas. The tour was well paced and took us to areas that friends who had visited Singapore previously had never seen. The different foods were all amazing and Pam’s knowledge of all the cultures we experienced was very interesting. I highly recommend this tour with Pam as a guide.

A great day sampling Singapore cuisine with a knowledgeable guide
We did a 6 hour tour with our guide, Richard. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the food we ate and the history of Singapore. I did this tour with my children who are both at university and we all had a great time. Richard really went out of his way to ensure that we understood the history and context of the food that he was putting in front of us and that he was adjusting to our needs. A really good day.

Incredible food tour of Singapore
Absolutely incredible food tour of Singapore led by the brilliant Su. Such an amazing variety of food, in places we never would have discovered by ourselves, accompanied by fascinating and informed guiding. I was with my father for his upcoming 80th birthday, and Su took great care of us both.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re so happy to hear you and your father had such a special time celebrating his upcoming 80th birthday with Su. She will be delighted to know you enjoyed the food variety and the hidden spots she shared. It was our pleasure to take care of you both, and we hope to welcome you again in Singapore! 😊

Amazing food tour
We had an amazing tour with Pam. Even though we just met, it felt like hanging out with an old friend. We got to try all sorts of food and drinks in places that we probably would have never found on our own. And Pam told us about the history of the food and the neighborhoods in Singapore which was super interesting. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely review! We’re so happy to hear you had such a great time with Pam and that she made the experience feel so relaxed and personal. It’s wonderful that you enjoyed the hidden food spots and the stories behind them. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again! 😊

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Singapore Food Tour: Culture & Local Neighborhoods: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Singapore.
How much does Private Singapore Food Tour: Culture & Local Neighborhoods cost?
+
Prices start at $301 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Singapore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Singapore Food Tour: Culture & Local Neighborhoods take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Singapore is not rushed.
Is Private Singapore Food Tour: Culture & Local Neighborhoods worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 106 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Singapore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Singapore Food Tour: Culture & Local Neighborhoods?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Singapore Food Tour: Culture & Local Neighborhoods suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Singapore Food Tour: Culture & Local Neighborhoods?
+
Around 37 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Singapore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Singapore and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Singapore Food Tour: Culture & Local Neighborhoods start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Singapore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Singapore?
+
On Outty we rank every Singapore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Singapore Highlights Small Group Bike Tour on Full-Sized Bicycles, Lion City Bike Tour of Singapore, Singapore River Cruise, Night Garden Rhapsody & Spectra by CYT. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Singapore?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Singapore?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
