      5 minutes here

    2. Valldemossa

This trip will take us first to Valldemossa, where you can stroll through the peaceful cobbled streets or relax and enjoy a coffee while you devour one of the local delicacies such as the 'coca de patatas' (small potato-based sponge cake) as at this time of the day we usually have the charming town to ourselves. You can join our guide for a relaxed walk around the streets or visit at your own pace the Carthusian Monastery and the famous composer Chopin's House (entrances are not included in the price).

      60 minutes here

    3. Iglesia de la Cartuja

(Entry excluded in the price) The Carthusian monastery of Valldemossa, in Mallorcan "la Cartoixa de Valldemossa", has been used for different purposes over time. 4. Casa natal de Santa Catalina Thomas

This is the birthplace of Catalina Thomàs, the most venerated saint on the island known as "La Beateta", who was born in Valldemossa in the 16th century. In her home, which has now been converted into a chapel, there is a tile at the entrance that represents a scene from the life of Mallorca's first saint.

    5. We will now have arrived in central Palma de Mallorca with our guide, and it´s time to enjoy a leisurely stroll to the ‘monumental area’ where many of the city’s sights can be seen. We will start with a panoramic tour along Palma Marina, taking in the glorius views of Palmas busy harbour.

      Pass by without stopping

    6. Catedral de Mallorca

Stop for photos outside Palma Cathedral (La Seu), and hear how the Roman Catholic place of worship was built on the site of an old Arabian mosque. Then, head inside to admire its circular, stained-glass windows and Gaudi-designed features. The colorful, and often controversial, Modernist artist left his mark on the site, and his eye-catching altarpiece is thought to be the cathedral’s highlight.

      Pass by without stopping

    7. Palau de l'Almudaina

You will pass by and be able to admire the beauty of The Royal Palace of La Almudaina, which dates back to the 14th century. A palace that reflects the artistic styles that have followed one another throughout the island's history.

    8. Ajuntament de Palma

While you are strolling through the beautiful old town of Palma you will come across the Ayuntamiento de Palma, located in Palma's Plaza de Cort. It was built between 1649 and 1680 by the architects Pere Bauçá, Miquel Oliver and Bartomeu Calafat. Some of the most outstanding elements on its façade are the balcony with seven large windows, the Rellotge d'en Figuera (Figuera Clock) and the Banc del si no fos (Bank of if you don't miss it). The building itself was declared a Historic-Artistic Monument belonging to the National Artistic Treasure by decree of 3 June 1931.

    9. While you´re taking in the breathtaking views of Palma Old Town and the historic architecture, keep an eye out for The Cort olive tree! This unique tree, known as the Olivera de Cort, was planted in 1999 from Tramuntana mountain range, as a symbol of peace and rootedness to the land. The Cort Olive Tree is located in the middle of the square, right in front of the town hall. Despite the move and its age, it continues to bear fruit every year.

    Oh My Mallorca!

Peter was an amazing guide, extremely knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. My mother was a little impaired in how much she could walk and Peter took that into account and pointed out places she could sit and enjoy a coffee or lite bite while we walked all over.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 🌴😊 We're delighted that **Peter** made your private tour such a memorable experience. His knowledge, humour and, above all, his attentiveness to your mother's needs perfectly reflect what we want from a private tour: discovering Mallorca at your own pace and adapting the day to each guest. We're especially pleased that he was able to suggest comfortable places where she could relax with a coffee or a light bite while you continued exploring. 💙 Thank you for choosing **Nofrills Excursions**. We hope to welcome you and your family back to Mallorca soon! 🌿☀️

    Difficult to understand her English

Very nice car. A driver and a separate guide was probably not necessary. Beautiful island. We took the train back to Palma, it was a very nice ride. If it wasn't so expensive was probably 4 stars.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you enjoyed the island, the vehicle and the train journey back to Palma. However, we feel some important points deserve clarification. Regarding the guide, Camy is a fully licensed official guide accredited by the Balearic Tourism Authorities and conducts tours in English every week. Over the years she has received hundreds of excellent reviews from English-speaking clients praising both her knowledge and communication skills. While we understand that accents and speaking styles can be perceived differently by different people, your comment is certainly not representative of the feedback we normally receive. As for having both a driver and a guide, this is not an unnecessary luxury but a deliberate choice to provide a higher-quality service. Mallorca's roads, traffic and parking conditions require the driver's full attention. At the same time, the guide is there to explain the history and culture of the places visited, organise the itinerary, assist guests and ensure everything runs smoothly. Expecting one person to safely drive while simultaneously guiding a private tour would not be realistic and certainly would not improve the experience. Finally, private tours are naturally more expensive than shared excursions because the vehicle, guide and driver are dedicated exclusively to your party. Even so, our private tours are typically around 20–25% less expensive than comparable private excursions offered by many other companies in Mallorca. We are glad you enjoyed Valldemossa, Palma and the train journey, and we thank you for choosing our private excursion. — The Nofrills Excursions Team

Private Shore Excursion to Valldemossa and Palma de Mallorca: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.

How much does Private Shore Excursion to Valldemossa and Palma de Mallorca cost?

    +

Prices start at $578 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Shore Excursion to Valldemossa and Palma de Mallorca take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.

Is Private Shore Excursion to Valldemossa and Palma de Mallorca worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 49 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Shore Excursion to Valldemossa and Palma de Mallorca?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Shore Excursion to Valldemossa and Palma de Mallorca suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Shore Excursion to Valldemossa and Palma de Mallorca?

    +

Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Shore Excursion to Valldemossa and Palma de Mallorca start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mallorca?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Luxury Catamaran sailing with welcome Drinks Tapas Max10-12Person, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mallorca?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mallorca?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
