Good Introduction
This is a good Introduction to Amman. You basically have a driver who takes you to the sites. * It really is not a food tour, driver took us for a simple Swarma and a desert. Walked by spice stores without stopping. Driver could not answer any food questions.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback, Possibly we do need to re-look at the description to make our visitors more aware of the expectations. Your feedback is well received and noted. Thank you

Great food tour
Our tour was great! We started with a guided tour of the Citadel and then we checked out the Roman Theater on our own. After visiting these 2 sights, we had worked up an appetite. We walked from the Roman Theater to our first food stop to get kanafeh. We were able to try both kinds and they were both delicious. Then we walked down the street to eat chicken shwarma. It was obviously a popular stop with the locals and we enjoyed it very much. From here we walked to see the oldest mosque in Amman and then we made our final stop to get falafel. We watched the cook fry up some fresh falafel for us and then make the sandwiches with whatever toppings we wanted. It was also delicious. Our tour guided told us about the city as we walked around. He was very informative. He answered all of our questions. The last site we visited was an ancient Roman fountain. I would recommend this tour to everyone wanting to see sights, eat delicious food and learn about the culture.
Response from the operator: Thank you Holly for the kind review and the feedback for your guide and the authentic food choices. We are very pleased that we met your expectation and more. We hope to see you back in the Kingdom and the best review is to tell a Friend! Good wishes from Jordan.

Excellent Intro To The City Of Amman!!
This tour provided me with an excellent intro to Amman. My driver Wissam was actually very helpful and considerate walking and driving me around the city. This was a private tour so it was almost like hanging out with a cool uncle in a stress free environment. Wissam actually had to wait for me for over an hour in the hotels lobby as i had a very urgent situation that had to be sorted out before i could leave. The flafel at quds, the sharwama at Reem and the Kunafa at Nafessa really made my day! This tour covers everything you need to see and tick of the bucket list in Amman,
Response from the operator: Thank you Balthazar We are pleased you had a nice time on our Amman Tour, one of the best we think that captures the most sites in the City and sampling on the Jordanian traditional foods, we are also pleased that Wissam was able to assist. And, lastly that the Amman Tour was a Check Off your List!

Enjoyable Tour
I booked the “Private Half Day Amman City and Food Tour” by Monaco Business Development through Viator. The driver/guide arrived promptly at my hotel. I wanted to substitute the visit to The Citadel with a visit to the Jordan Museum instead since I had just visited The Citadel the day before. The driver/guide got the okay with the tour company for the switch. I enjoyed both the Jordan Museum and the Roman Theatre. There was no time pressure on me for how long I spend at each place. The driver/guide stayed in the car while I explored the Roman Theatre by myself. The car was clean and air-conditioned. The driver/guide was friendly and spoke some English. For food, I had a tasty falafel sandwich at Al Quds on Rainbow St. Next, we went to a Nafisa Sweets dessert shop for kunafeh, a doughy dessert made with cheese, nuts, and syrup, which was also very good. Final food stop was at Shawerma Reem for a shawerma and a pepsi before I was dropped off back at my hotel. Total length of the tour was about 3.5 hours.
Response from the operator: Thank you Bill for sharing your Amman and Food Tour Experience and happy to know that we could accommodate your change, we do encourage our drivers to be their 'own boss' and adapt to the customers needs. Also we are pleased that you enjoyed our authentic 'Fun' Cuisine', we do find these food outlets to be quite popular and consistent. Thank you again for the kind remarks.

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Shopping Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amman.
How much does Private Shopping Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amman usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Shopping Experience take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amman is not rushed.
Is Private Shopping Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Shopping Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Shopping Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 13. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Shopping Experience?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amman and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Shopping Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amman within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amman?
+
On Outty we rank every Amman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Amman: Petra and Wadi rum Private/Group Full day Tour, Discover Trax Jo Playground and Traffic Park Fun, From Amman :Private or Group Full day tour to Petra. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amman?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amman?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
