    Outstanding private wine tour!

My husband and I did a private wine tour with Panos, and it was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgable - about wine, the history of wine making, wine making in Santorini specifically, and Santorini itself. A private tour with Panos is def the way to go!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are truly delighted to hear that you and your husband had such an outstanding experience on your private wine tour in Santorini with Panos. Panos is indeed extremely knowledgeable about Santorini wine, Greek wine history, local grape varieties, and the unique volcanic terroir that makes Santorini wineries so special. We’re thrilled that his passion for wine tasting, wine making traditions, and the rich history of Santorini enhanced your private tour experience. Providing high-quality, personalized private wine tours in Santorini is always our goal, and it’s fantastic to know that Panos delivered an unforgettable, informative, and enjoyable wine tour for you. Panos is the best!!!

Panos! He was the best! My husband, brother-in-law, and I were on a trip of a lifetime. We booked Panos to be our tour guide in Santorini. Panos made our tour in Santorini just what we wanted. He took us to three different wineries, each with their own character. He also took us to the town to walk through. His personality was fun, comfortable, and friendly. Using Panos was a decision we are glad we made. If any of my family or friends go to Santorini, I will tell them to use Panos. If I go back, Panos will definitely be our tour guide again! Thanks, Panos, for making our trip so very special!

    Hospitality

As this was a private tour, we could request which wineries to go beforehand. Also, the driver & guide was so flexible that we could go back to one of the wineries we saw to buy extra wines. As we had activities before and after of this winery tour, we appreciated his all arrangements to go smoothly and finish punctually at the time we requested. Thank you for all.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for sharing your amazing experience with Justelene in Santorini! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your private Santorini wine tour and appreciated the flexibility to choose the wineries you wished to visit, as well as the option to return for more wine purchases. Our goal at Justelene is always to create personalized private tours in Santorini that combine comfort, punctuality, and the best highlights of the island. It’s wonderful to know that our driver and guide made all the arrangements run smoothly, fitting perfectly with your other activities before and after the winery tour. We take pride in offering guests a seamless Santorini experience, from exploring the famous caldera views to discovering the island’s unique wineries and traditional villages. Thank you again for choosing Justelene for your Santorini private tour. We look forward to welcoming you back to Greece and creating more unforgettable memories on this beautiful island! Warm regards,

Great wines and personal service from a friendly and knowledgeable host

We enjoyed all our tours in Europe, but none more than this Santorini wine tour. Thanks to our guide Panos, the arrangements were easy and travel on the island was scenic and comfortable. Panos entertained us with stories about the history, growing methods, and unique local wines as we enjoyed the beauty of Santorini. He provided colorful background and told us what to look for at each winery we visited. As a lifelong resident, he knew the people, the wines, and the island and he clearly enjoyed sharing that with us. Most importantly, this tour was a highly personal experience. Thanks to Panos, we were welcomed as friends rather than strangers at each stop. He also picked us up at Athinios Port when we managed transport from our cruise ship and, at our request, stopped for a brief visit to Megalochori, a well-maintained 17th century village. We could have spent less for a wine tour in Santorini, but we decided to go for higher quality and a more intimate experience. We are so glad we did. For only a few dollars more, we enjoyed great wines and personal service from a friendly and knowledgeable host. We highly recommend Panos and Justelene Project to others with an interest in Santorini and its wonderful wines.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your amazing review! We’re thrilled to hear that your Santorini wine tour with Panos was such a personal and unforgettable experience. Sharing the island’s local wines, history, and hidden gems is exactly what we love to do, and it’s wonderful to know you felt welcomed as friends at every stop. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for more authentic Santorini experiences soon!

Private Santorinian Wine Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.

How much does Private Santorinian Wine Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $170 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Santorinian Wine Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.

Is Private Santorinian Wine Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Santorinian Wine Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Santorinian Wine Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Santorinian Wine Tour?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Santorinian Wine Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santorini?

    +

On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santorini?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santorini?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
