What you get

    About this experience

This is not a group wine tour with a fixed script and a van full of strangers. Every aspect of this experience is built around one principle: it's yours. Your group is the only group. That means your guide's full attention, a pace that fits you, and an itinerary that can shift based on what you love. The wineries are chosen for quality and character, not tourist volume. You won't be shuffled through the island's busiest tasting rooms. Instead, you'll visit boutique estates where the welcome is personal, the production is small, and the wines actually tell you something about the volcanic soil they came from. They'll walk you through the vineyard, explain the basket-vine technique that makes Santorini's viticulture unlike anywhere else in the world, and help you understand what's in your glass at every stop. And then there's the finale. A first-row table at Santo Wines, reserved for your group, as the caldera sky turns gold.

Private Winery Tour- Great Atmosphere and Staff!

Amazing tour! Early for pick up, custom wines to fit our wants, and great walk through of the history of each wine. Highly recommend! Gave me a great glance of the grape/wine culture. Transparent costs. Length was spot on. Very private.

    The best of the best!

Wineland Tours is truly the best of the best. From the very beginning of our planning to the forever memories we made on their excursions, it was absolutely incredible. The pricing was great, communication was easy and quick, and the tours were incredible. We have already sent their contact information to 2 friends traveling to Greece soon.

Great wine and island tour on Santorini

Giannis was a fantastic tour and wine guide. He provided a great review of the island’s history while moving between the two wineries. Each winery was fun, the wine and food were great. Giannis also provided many insights to the vine growing and wine making process on Santorini. He was also fun and entertaining. We all loved our tour.

From vines to wine at sunset

Really great tour with Yiannis, he really knows his wine. Talked us through everything from how wine making works on Santorini to what food pairings work with which wine. Well recommended.

Private Santorini Wine Tour: 3 Wineries & Stunning Caldera Sunset: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.

How much does Private Santorini Wine Tour: 3 Wineries & Stunning Caldera Sunset cost?

    +

Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Santorini Wine Tour: 3 Wineries & Stunning Caldera Sunset take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.

Is Private Santorini Wine Tour: 3 Wineries & Stunning Caldera Sunset worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Santorini Wine Tour: 3 Wineries & Stunning Caldera Sunset?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Santorini Wine Tour: 3 Wineries & Stunning Caldera Sunset suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Santorini Wine Tour: 3 Wineries & Stunning Caldera Sunset?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Santorini Wine Tour: 3 Wineries & Stunning Caldera Sunset start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santorini?

    +

On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santorini?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santorini?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
