    Cooking with Chris.

Our Cooking class was amazing and the food was delicious. We were so glad we cooked things that were not expected. We thought we’d be making taziki or gyros, but we ended up making a full meal and dessert! We enjoyed cooking with Chef Chris. He was so good at explaining things and was knowledgable and friendly. He taught us how to cook and gave us many helpful tips. We each were involved in the actual cooking and we all participated in the food prep as well. The ingredients were delicious and grown right there! The room was great size for 6 of us and had a beautiful view of The garden. Eating our dinner was wonderful in the restaurant and the wine was Fabulous!

    Outstanding experience with professional chef

Quite different from other Traveling Spoon experiences that we’ve had, this is with a professional chef in a gorgeous winery / restaurant (complete with herb and vegetable garden). We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. We learned an enormous amount about Greek cuisine and countless cooking tips from Chef Christos. He was absolutely delightful and a wonderful teacher. He provided expert guidance throughout as evidenced by the fact that our meal was phenomenal. We picked herbs from their garden with Philippos who also treated us to an amazing tour of the winery. During the cooking experience, we “sampled” each course and after the winery tour, we were treated to a sit down meal of our recipes overlooking the water. There are not enough adjectives in the English language to describe how wonderful this experience is!!

Response from the operator: Dear guest, Thank you so much for your kind words and for choosing to join us again, it truly means the world to us to welcome back repeat guests like you! We're thrilled to hear that your experience with Chef Christos was so memorable. You're absolutely right - most of our hosts are expert home cooks who welcome travelers into their homes. However, we also partner with a select number of professional chefs who host in cooking studios or restaurants when their hospitality and passion for sharing authentic recipes and culture shine through. What matters most to us is that the experience feels warm, personal, and deeply rooted in local culinary traditions - and we’re so glad you felt that with Chef Christos. From exploring the gardens and winery with Philippos to learning new techniques and enjoying your meal overlooking the water, it sounds like a truly special day. Chef Christos is indeed a gem, and we’re so happy his love for Greek cuisine and teaching came through. Your thoughtful note made our day. We can’t wait to help you discover more unforgettable culinary moments around the world. Thank you again for being part of the Traveling Spoon family and for your support!

PRIVATE Santorini Farm-to-Table Cooking Class with Chef Christos: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.

How much does PRIVATE Santorini Farm-to-Table Cooking Class with Chef Christos cost?

    +

Prices start at $139 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does PRIVATE Santorini Farm-to-Table Cooking Class with Chef Christos take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.

Is PRIVATE Santorini Farm-to-Table Cooking Class with Chef Christos worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule PRIVATE Santorini Farm-to-Table Cooking Class with Chef Christos?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is PRIVATE Santorini Farm-to-Table Cooking Class with Chef Christos suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book PRIVATE Santorini Farm-to-Table Cooking Class with Chef Christos?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does PRIVATE Santorini Farm-to-Table Cooking Class with Chef Christos start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santorini?

    +

On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santorini?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santorini?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
