Almost missed my flight back home!
I booked a private transportation for my partner and I. When we arrived at the airport it was a challenge to find the company no one waiting with a sign with our names. When we did find them the car had not arrived yet we waited an extra ten minutes. When we checked out of the hotel is when we ran into a big issue. I had requested that the transportation arrive to the hotel at 11:30am to drive us to the airport. They were NOT there at 11:30am, when we called to get an ETA they said 5 minutes, 10-15 minutes later they call me back saying the car was broken down and they would have to send another car which would take an extra 20-25 minutes. I let them know we would’ve missed our flight they simply did not care and were more than happy to cancel the ride all together. To avoid missing our flight we literally called for a taxi that showed up in two minutes or less and got us to the airport in time. DONT BOOK with CANCUN AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION!!
