Wonderful driving tour around the lake
Lucio our driver picked us up at the cruise terminal, super easy to find each other. The shuttle van was comfortable and roomy for the 6 of us on the tour. We had gorgeous weather finally on our trip sunny, warm, and blue skies. Lucio gave us a run down of our day and off we went. He is an excellent driver and he communicated very well with us. We had a drop off at an adorable historical lakeside town that we had an hour to just walk around and enjoy coffee and a croissant, then drove for a bit to another lakeside town that had an outdoor market and ended up having the best time looking at local wares. Our next stop was lunch at Osteria Del Borgo. Food was excellent and topped my best meal of our Italian trip. We walked around the outside area of the castle then got back in our van for the drive directly to our hotel by the airport. Lucio took us good care of us, was not pushy and gave great recommendations. Highly recommend this excursion a great way to see a good chunk of countryside with none of the worry of dealing w the stress of driving. Our driver that picked us up start of the trip was also wonderful and it was a smooth process getting to the cruise port. If you can split the cost with others or afford it on your own highly recommend this way of service.

Drive, Food, and Fun
For our last day in Rome, we decided to visit Castel Gandolfo, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our driver, Costinel, was exceptional—friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed a delightful progressive meal that began with a savory starter of porchetta, followed by a wonderful lunch at Ristorante Il Gladiatore in Lanuvio. To top it all off, we savored a delicious strawberry tarta for dessert in the charming town of Nemi. Costinel not only ensured a smooth journey but also enriched our day with local insights and hidden gems. Loved this trip outside of Rome with no crowds!
Vlad was an amazing guide and driver on this wonderful excursion! We got out of Rome and enjoyed some beautiful countryside and gorgeous lakes - no crowds anywhere to be found! Vlad did a wonderful job of helping us decide what we should see and where we should go and even got a lunch reservation at a delicious restaurant with a fabulous view.
