Best way to spend your morning!
First time fishing and it was absolutely amazing! Captain Walker is very knowledgeable and taught us about the varieties of fish we caught. We got to see some wildlife around us; an owl, ospreys, gators. We will definitely come back to fish with him!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your first fishing adventure with us! We're thrilled Captain Walker made it such a memorable experience by teaching you about the different fish species along the way. Spotting owls, ospreys, and even gators is a pretty special bonus that makes a day on the water even more unforgettable. 😊 We're so glad you had an amazing time, and we look forward to fishing with you again on your next visit! 🎣

Unbelievable Trip!
Captain Ken Walker was outstanding! We did the 4-hour trip on Rodman. I've fished all over, for all types. As has my buddy. This was over the top on expectations and results.
Response from the operator: Incredible bass fishing takes a good captain but also a great angler. Congrats on the success and thank you for your business!

AMAZING Experience- Ken Walker
Ken Walker was extremely knowledgeable, educational, patient and kind. My son caught his personal best bass, 9 lbs. 12 oz. Thank you Ken!!!
Response from the operator: We enjoyed and appreciate your review. As well thank you for your business. The bite was good, and you caught a nice variety of fish. Hope to see you return, until next time from all us and Captain Ken....a sincere thank you!

Enjoyed the adventure
I opted to fish Rodman Reservoir during the drawdown. Captain Chris was very accomodating and a pleasure to spend 6 hours with. His boat and equipment are setup for fishing this type of lake. The weather was ideal for fishing; mostly cloudy, west wind, warming temperatures. The water temperature was 66. The bass were not very co-operative. I caught five bass with the largest about 4 pounds. I also caught 4 mud fish and 1 small gar. I will be back for another adventure next year.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, it is always very much appreciated. So glad your fishing trip with Capt Chris was so successful. We really appreciate you spending the day with us and look forward to serving you in the future. From Capt Chris Davy and all of us at Bass Online a sincere thank you for your business! .•´¯`•..>-<((((º>

Private Rodman Reservoir Bass Charter Near Gainesville: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Gainesville.
How much does Private Rodman Reservoir Bass Charter Near Gainesville cost?
+
Prices start at $223 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Gainesville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Rodman Reservoir Bass Charter Near Gainesville take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Gainesville is not rushed.
Is Private Rodman Reservoir Bass Charter Near Gainesville worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Gainesville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Rodman Reservoir Bass Charter Near Gainesville?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Rodman Reservoir Bass Charter Near Gainesville suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Rodman Reservoir Bass Charter Near Gainesville?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Gainesville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Gainesville and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Rodman Reservoir Bass Charter Near Gainesville start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Gainesville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Gainesville?
+
Gainesville, FL packs its best experiences into walkable neighborhoods, local food, and day trips nearby. Outty ranks every bookable tour and activity in Gainesville by rating quality, review depth, booking demand and value, so you can see the standouts before you book. On Outty we rank every Gainesville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 Hour Glass Bottom Guided Kayak Eco Tour in Gilchrist Blue, Unique Scavenger Hunt Experience in Gainesville by Operation City Quest, Explore Gainesville with a Unique Scavenger Hunt by Crazy Dash. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Gainesville?
+
Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in Gainesville, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Gainesville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
