A fantastic day in Quito!
Absolutely fantastic tour by Xavier! We saw so many things and packed in a full day of sightseeing. We loved the cable car up to the volcano and the equator musuem. Xavier spoke perfect English and explained so much.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Denise! 😊 Our Quito city tour is designed to show the best of the city in a single day, and we’re glad you enjoyed highlights like the cable car and the equator museum. It’s great to know that Xavier made a difference in your experience with his guidance and attention throughout the day. We’d love to welcome you again for more unforgettable moments in Ecuador! 🇪🇨

Great day out in Quito
We had a great day with Diego. We visited the old town, went up in the cable car and went to the equator. We learnt heaps and felt safe at all times. A great day out.

Private Full-Day Quito City Tour & Mitad del Mundo
We had a fabulous day on a private tour of Quito and the surrounding area, coordinated by Alex Manzaba. Alex was terrific with adjusting the schedule to fit best with the ever-changing weather in Quito. He flexed to get in as much as possible with the pending rain, and made great suggestions that were “off the beaten path.” He accommodated all of our requests (for example, we didn’t want a long lunch, we wanted to see the city) and was knowledgeable and passionate about his home town. It was an absolutely perfect day in Quito!
Response from the operator: Dear customer, thank you so much for your lovely review. We are glad to know you had a great experience despite the ever-changing weather. Hope you can come for another adventure with us! Best regards!

Five experiences in one day!
An action-packed trip that kept us moving! Toured the old part of the city, stopped for a bite at a cafe and people-watched on the Grande plaza, went on a tour of a chocolate maker, saw the angel statue, and went to the REAL equator! At the equator, we did science experiments and saw real shrunken heads. Don't forget to get your passport stamped at 0 degrees longitude and latitude!

A tour of Quito and the Mitad del Mundo well worth the price
I had poked around Quito's old town on my own for a couple of days but wanted to learn more and to visit El Panecillo. The Mitad del Mundo was not something high on my list of must-sees, but I figured why not. It ended up being a fantastic day. Raul was an excellent guide: friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. It was just the two of us in town, and we had a really nice morning seeing the sights. We then met up with a couple for the Mitad del Mundo portion of the tour in the afternoon. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. The drive there was interesting, and the equator complex was fun -- and kitschy only in the best possible way. My heart went out to the owners of all the shops and restaurants, since tourists were fairly thin on the ground. I decided to go on a tour to Cotopaxi with this same tour company, and Diego showed me and the other guest a great time there. Quito and Ecuador are amazing places to visit.
Response from the operator: Dear customer, thank you so much for your nice review. We are happy to know you had a great experience visiting Quito and Cotopaxi. Hope to see you soon again, we will make sure you have an amazing time!

Private Quito City Tour+Teleferico+Mitad del Mundo with entrances: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quito.
How much does Private Quito City Tour+Teleferico+Mitad del Mundo with entrances cost?
+
Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quito usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Quito City Tour+Teleferico+Mitad del Mundo with entrances take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quito is not rushed.
Is Private Quito City Tour+Teleferico+Mitad del Mundo with entrances worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quito, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Quito City Tour+Teleferico+Mitad del Mundo with entrances?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Quito City Tour+Teleferico+Mitad del Mundo with entrances suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Quito City Tour+Teleferico+Mitad del Mundo with entrances?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quito can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quito and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Quito City Tour+Teleferico+Mitad del Mundo with entrances start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quito within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Quito?
+
On Outty we rank every Quito experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cotopaxi tour from Quito -horseback ride and hike-NO TOURISTY way, Baños Full Day Tour from Quito Including Entrances and Activities, Gastronomic and Cultural Walking Tour of Quito with Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Quito?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Quito?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
