    3. Gibran Museum

Khalil Gibran Museum — The Prophet, in the village that produced it The Prophet has sold over 100 million copies in more than 100 languages — one of the best-selling books of the entire 20th century. Most travelers who visit Kozhaya say it is the stop they did not expect and cannot forget. High above the rest of Lebanon

Mike was an amazing guide on my solo trip. Showing me the places in the itinerary while being flexible to my needs. Fluent in English, it was like talking to a brother. Amazing scenes, especially the monastery. The tour was a very pleasant change of scenery from Beirut and the coast. Don’t forget to bring a jacket for the Cedars hike

Incredible Day at the Cedars & Qadisha Valley

We did another private tour with Hassane, this time to the Cedars and Qadisha Valley, and it was an incredible experience! The scenery throughout the day was absolutely beautiful. The Cedars were amazing to see in person, and Qadisha Valley was easily one of the most impressive places we visited during our time in Lebanon. Once again, Hassane was fantastic. He’s very knowledgeable, professional, and just an easy person to spend the day with. Everything was well organized, but the tour still felt relaxed and flexible. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy the views, walk around, take photos, and experience each stop. After doing multiple tours with Hassane, I can confidently say he made a huge difference in our trip to Lebanon. Great guide and genuinely great guy. Highly recommend!

    Lebanon Must-See With Hassane

The cedar tree tour is a must-do in Lebanon! Amazing scenery, nature hikes, and a unique opportunity to see beautiful trees that have played a critical role in the development of Phoenician shipbuilding and Solomon’s temple. Hassane was an excellent guide and provided a seamless experience. Highly recommend for anyone interested in mixing history with hiking outdoors!

    The Beautiful Lebanon

I did a day tour with Beirut daily tours to the Holly Valley, Jubran Museum and the Cedars and all was perfect. Especially the land scape so you will admire the beauty of nature and you will see the cedars of God tree and a 30 min hike in the Cedars forest. A must see when visiting Lebanon.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Beirut.

How much does Private Qadisha Valley, Gibran Museum & Cedars Hike | From Beirut cost?

    +

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Beirut usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Qadisha Valley, Gibran Museum & Cedars Hike | From Beirut take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Beirut is not rushed.

Is Private Qadisha Valley, Gibran Museum & Cedars Hike | From Beirut worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Beirut, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Qadisha Valley, Gibran Museum & Cedars Hike | From Beirut?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Qadisha Valley, Gibran Museum & Cedars Hike | From Beirut suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Qadisha Valley, Gibran Museum & Cedars Hike | From Beirut?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Beirut can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Beirut and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Beirut within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Beirut?

    +

On Outty we rank every Beirut experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Small-Group Tour to Baalbek, Anjar and Ksara with Lunch, Guided Small-Group Tour to Jeita, Harissa, Byblos with Lunch, Jeita Grotto, Harisa & Byblos: Small Group Tour with Hotel pickup. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Beirut?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Beirut?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
