    Everything about this...

Everything about this tour was amazing. Michal’s knowledge of both history and culture made it a special day for my family.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your nice words! I’m really happy to hear that the day left a great impression on your family. Exploring both Prague and Karlstejn castle with you was a real pleasure, and I’m glad the mix of history and culture made it special. In my opinion this choice is a great combination of Prague city history with a countryside trip so you hit all the bases. Wishing you all the best! Greetings from Prague Michal

    Tour of Prague's Jewish district

After an incredible time with Michal last year, I decided to book another Prague city day tour while I was in town for the Christmas markets, this time focusing on the Jewish district. The tour was incredibly moving and enriching, and Michal's knowledge about the Jewish experience in Prague over the centuries greatly added to the experience!

Private walking tour of Prague w/ Strahov Monastery library

We had an amazing time exploring the beautiful city of Prague and some of its jewels, including the Strahov Monastery library. We had to cut the tour short due to a personal emergency, but Michal was incredibly helpful, understanding, and accommodating during the ordeal. We were able to continue the tour the following day after our Kutna Hora trip. We are sincerely grateful for that gesture and for making our time in Czechia an unforgettable, beautiful experience!

    Virtual Prague Tour - Fantastic

I'm not sure if this is the correct event but my company did a virtual tour of the castle and other areas with Michel. He was fantastic. After I talked to my fiance and we added Prague to our travel list. I need to see it in person and will hope to see it with Michel as my tour guide.

Response from the operator: Hello from Prague! Thanks for the lovely comment, I'm excited to read that the virtual tour made you to plan to come to see Prague in person :-) Czech republic has many places to offer (also Kutna Hora, Cesky Krumlov, Pilsner brewery and others, feel free to reach out to me for more recommendations - I'm guiding in all the mentioned places). The event you chose is a different one (Karlstejn castle is castle in the countryside outside of Prague and we virtually toured Prague castle in the capital) but don't worry about it, both the castles are worth visit! Thank you for your review! Michal

Private Prague walking tour & Karlstejn castle trip from Prague: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.

How much does Private Prague walking tour & Karlstejn castle trip from Prague cost?

    +

Prices start at $139 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Prague walking tour & Karlstejn castle trip from Prague take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.

Is Private Prague walking tour & Karlstejn castle trip from Prague worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Prague walking tour & Karlstejn castle trip from Prague?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Prague walking tour & Karlstejn castle trip from Prague suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Prague walking tour & Karlstejn castle trip from Prague?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Prague walking tour & Karlstejn castle trip from Prague start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Prague?

    +

On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Prague?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Prague?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
