What you get

    About this experience

The city of Pilsen has lots to offer. First of all it is a beer-brewing capital of the world - the first pilsner lager was born there. On the trip you will enjoy a guided tour through Pilsner Urquell brewery finished by a tasting session of unfiltered beer, tapped from oak barrels. Secondly it is a historically valuable city with the 3rd biggest synagogue in the world and the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew with the highest church tower in Czechia, and finally it is an industrial centre of Bohemia with the Skoda engineering company. The day’s program in Pilsen could be also adjusted to kids (Techmania science centre, the only 3D observatory in Czechia, the dinopark, muzeum of ghosts and fairy tales or zoo).

    Pilsen Day Trip from Prague

Great half-day trip. We learned a lot about the history of Pilsen, beer brewing process and strolled through the historic part of this town.

Wonderful day in Pilsen with brewery tour

This tour was perfect. Michal of Real Prague Tours was the best tour guide we have ever booked. He met us at our hotel in Prague and he had a very comfortable and clean van to transport us to Pilsen. My husband always worries about transportation as he is very tall and he was very happy. We did a walking tour with Michal which we very much enjoyed. Pilsen was lovely and much quieter than Prague. The cathedral there is beautiful! We also saw monuments to American servicemen and General Patton. Didn't know about that history. Lunch was included at a local restaurant and was great of course with a Pilsen beer. We then went to the brewery for the tour and it was really fun. Michal was there waiting for us after and we had a lovely drive back to Prague. This was such a great tour, I would totally do it again! We also did a walking tour of Prague on another day with Michal and that was also wonderful. I highly recommend him.

Day trip Prague to Pilsen & Pilsner Urquell Brewery tour

Michal is a wonderful tour guide. He is local to the area and his family has been there for generations. We did this trip and a Prague walking tour with him on a different day. I highly recommend him. Michal picked us up at our hotel in a spotless beautiful van that was very comfortable. My husband who is very tall was very happy, he had plenty of room. Water was provided and lunch at a local Pilson restaurant was included. We had a walking tour in Pilsen which was very interesting followed by a delicious lunch and the brewery tour which was really fun.

    Fantastic tour.

It was a pleasure having Michal as our tour guide. His passion for history was evident, and the tour did not feel forced or memorized and rehearsed like some others do. In fact, it didn’t really feel like a tour at all…more like an afternoon hanging out with a very well-informed friend. Highly recommend this tour if you’re in Plzen!

Private Pilsner brewery and Pilsen tour from Prague All-Inclusive: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.

How much does Private Pilsner brewery and Pilsen tour from Prague All-Inclusive cost?

    +

Prices start at $135 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Pilsner brewery and Pilsen tour from Prague All-Inclusive take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.

Is Private Pilsner brewery and Pilsen tour from Prague All-Inclusive worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Pilsner brewery and Pilsen tour from Prague All-Inclusive?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Pilsner brewery and Pilsen tour from Prague All-Inclusive suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Pilsner brewery and Pilsen tour from Prague All-Inclusive?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Pilsner brewery and Pilsen tour from Prague All-Inclusive start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Prague?

    +

On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Prague?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Prague?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
