Photo tour in BA
Great guide and photographer. Nicholas showed us the best spots and best angels to take the best photos. One could not find a better guide in BA. Finally, he is not intrusive which is important for us.

I always aim to give my clients the space to enjoy their creative process without feeling rushed or intruded upon, so I’m incredibly glad to hear that you appreciated that approach. Streets, Stories, and a Different Side of Buenos Aires
We had an amazing experience with Nik in Buenos Aires. He’s incredibly kind, soft-spoken, and made us feel welcome from the start. What I loved most was how personal the experience felt—he took the time to get to know us and shared his own stories, making it feel like we were exploring the city with a friend. Seeing BA through his eyes was truly special. As a photographer, he went above and beyond. He had looked at my work in advance and tailored the tour to my interest in street and travel photography. He pushed me to think more intentionally about my compositions and shots, and that made a real difference. He never rushed us - the focus was always on the experience. The thoughtful and constructive feedback he gave me in our photo review session is something I’ll carry with me going forward. It was such a fun, enriching experience - learning, exploring, and seeing BA in a completely new way. Nik - I hope you organize a tour in the US someday, I’d love to join again or hopefully in another corner of the world!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Malini for these incredibly kind words! It was an absolute pleasure spending time with you and Abhi, exploring Buenos Aires together. Knowing that the experience felt personal and genuine makes me so happy, because that's exactly what I aim for: not just a tour, but a real connection and a shared adventure. You're the kind of traveler and creative soul that makes this work so fulfilling. The photo review session is always one of my favorite parts, and I loved seeing how you reflected on and engaged with each shot. As for a tour in the US, finger crossed. I love the idea. Until then, keep shooting with intention and curiosity. Warmest greetings, and safe travels wherever the road takes you next!!

A Must-Do Experience for Photographers
We hired Nicholas Tinelli for a full-day tour in Buenos Aires before our Antarctic cruise, and it was the highlight of our stay. Nicholas took us through several diverse neighborhoods, each with its own unique character, and helped us capture truly fantastic photos. We were so impressed with his expertise that we booked him again for a half-day tour when we returned from our cruise! Beyond his technical photography skills, Nicholas is a wealth of knowledge. He shared fascinating insights into the city's history and culture, which added so much depth to our visit. If you want to go beyond simple snapshots and really see the authentic beauty of Buenos Aires, I cannot recommend Nicholas highly enough.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words. It truly means a lot to me. Spending a full day exploring the city together and reconnecting after your cruise was a real pleasure. I’m always grateful when I can share not just photography, but also the stories, history, and everyday Argentinian culture. Thank you again for your trust and enthusiasm — I hope our paths cross again someday, whether back in Argentina or in the US!!

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Photography Tour in Buenos Aires: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.
How much does Private Photography Tour in Buenos Aires cost?
+
Prices start at $175 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Photography Tour in Buenos Aires take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.
Is Private Photography Tour in Buenos Aires worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 42 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Photography Tour in Buenos Aires?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Photography Tour in Buenos Aires suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Photography Tour in Buenos Aires?
+
Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Photography Tour in Buenos Aires start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?
+
On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Private Photography Tour in Buenos Aires?
+
Included: Guide and assistance of a professional travel photographer. Not included: Transport to and from the meeting point. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Where is the meeting point for Private Photography Tour in Buenos Aires?
+
We will meet next to the monument "Pyramid of May", in the main square of Buenos Aires. The meeting point is easily accessible by public services (metro, bus) and taxi. Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.
What languages is Private Photography Tour in Buenos Aires offered in?
+
It is offered in English, Italian and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Private Photography Tour in Buenos Aires?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
What happens to Private Photography Tour in Buenos Aires if the weather is bad?
+
This experience depends on good weather. If it is canceled because of poor weather, you are offered a different date or a full refund.
