    Secret Proposal Photos

I highly recommend Dennis and his team at Charleston Photo Art for any photography needs. I chose Charleston Photo Art based on their incredible reviews and testimonials, and after looking through the samples on their website and social media, I knew I was going with a high-quality team. From the moment I first contacted Dennis, he was extremely helpful and genuinely cared about making the experience special. He did a phenomenal job capturing our perfect day and all of the emotions that came with it. Admittedly, I was extremely nervous to propose to my girlfriend, Jazmine. Throughout our photo shoot, Dennis kept us relaxed and comfortable with his hilarious jokes and easygoing personality. He made what could have been an incredibly nerve-racking experience feel natural and enjoyable. After our experience, my fiancée and I already know that we’ll be working with Dennis again for our wedding. We couldn’t be happier with the photos and the entire experience. If you’re looking for a photographer in Charleston, I can’t recommend Dennis and his team enough!

    An Absolutely Amazing Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had the pleasure of booking Denis with Charleston PhotoArt for the first time last year for our engagement session, and I knew immediately that I had found a photographer I would want to work with again. He has an incredible eye for capturing the little moments, the genuine emotions, and the essence of the people in front of his camera. Our engagement photos were absolutely beautiful, and honestly, you’ll find yourself wanting to keep every single shot! So, of course, when it was time for our family photos, I knew exactly who I wanted to call. We booked Denis for a beach family session, and once again, he exceeded our expectations. He is incredibly patient, professional, and knows exactly how to keep the atmosphere light and comfortable. His little jokes had us laughing throughout the session, and he gave us plenty of different pose ideas so the photos felt natural and varied rather than staged. What I appreciate most is how enjoyable he makes the entire experience. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his clients and takes pride in what he does. From the initial communication to the actual session, his customer service is outstanding. He is responsive, professional, and the turnaround time for receiving your photos is fantastic. And I absolutely have to give props to the editor as well! The editing is beautiful and really brings the final images to life without taking away from the natural beauty of the moments captured. We genuinely enjoy your work, and I can already see us booking many more sessions in the future! If you’re looking for a photographer who is talented, patient, professional, fun, and truly knows how to capture your essence, BOOK HIM! You will not regret it. Charleston PhotoArt is highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Worth Every Penny!! Family loved this!!!

Booking a photographer was a HUGE surprise for my wife and 2 teenage daughters. They absolutely loved it and would pay to do it all over again. They had great photos they could post on social media and my wife had great pictures of the girls and family for the house and Christmas cards. Dennis was amazing and was an absolute professional. We even hired him to do some additional editing of photos we really loved. We would use him again. We weren't rushed and had plenty of time to get absolutely great family photos.

    Amazing Experience w/ Dennis!

We had such an amazing experience! From start to finish, they were incredibly courteous, friendly, and professional. The quality of the photos exceeded our expectations, and the value for what we received was outstanding. What impressed us most was the honesty and genuine care— Dennis was transparent, helpful, and truly wanted us to have the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a talented photographer who is kind, trustworthy, and willing to go the extra mile, I can’t recommend Dennis enough. We absolutely love our photos and will definitely be booking with them again!

Private Photo Session in Historic Charleston: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Charleston.

How much does Private Photo Session in Historic Charleston cost?

    +

Prices start at $175 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Charleston usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Photo Session in Historic Charleston take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Charleston is not rushed.

Is Private Photo Session in Historic Charleston worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 178 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Charleston, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Photo Session in Historic Charleston?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Photo Session in Historic Charleston suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Photo Session in Historic Charleston?

    +

Around 62 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Charleston can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Charleston and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Photo Session in Historic Charleston start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Charleston within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Charleston?

    +

Charleston's best experiences are small: house museum tours with an architectural historian, Gullah heritage walks, harbour sails at sunset and Lowcountry food crawls through the market district. Plantation day trips vary enormously in how honestly they handle the history, and our ranking factors that in directly. On Outty we rank every Charleston experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Historic Charleston Guided Sightseeing Walking Tour, Charleston historical walking tour with a Professor of History at The Citadel, Highlights of Charleston Guided Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Charleston?

    +

March to May and September to November, the two mild shoulder windows. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Charleston?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
