Great Tour Experience of Osaka from Kyoto.

This was a great experience touring Osaka with Akihiro. He kept in touch with us and made sure that we were on the same page. Outlined the places we will visit in Osaka. He was very prompt on the day of the tour. In fact he arrived earlier than the planned time and waited for us. His knowledge and information about Osaka was exceptional. We first visited the Osaka Castle. We got there early when the gates were opened so we got to do our tour way before the crowds showed up. Great view of the city from the castle. Cherry Blossom was at their peak so that was extra special. We got to take great photos and Akihiro came in handy to take photos for us. We then visited the Umeda Skyline and got very good view of Osaka from there. Weather was clear so the view of the city was incredible. Finally he took us to the Dotombori Market, gave us the history and tour of the area. He encouraged us to get some food and we ended up eating a delicious Takoyaki meal. Very memorable tour of Osaka.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review. We’re delighted to hear that you had a memorable tour of Osaka with Akihiro. His punctuality, knowledge, and attentiveness are qualities we deeply value, and we're glad they contributed to making your experience so special. Visiting Osaka Castle before the crowds, enjoying peak cherry blossoms, and taking in the views from Umeda Sky Building must have made for a truly unforgettable day. We're also happy to hear you enjoyed exploring Dotonbori and trying delicious takoyaki! Thank you again for choosing our tour, and we hope to welcome you back to Japan for another adventure in the future. Best wishes, Manami

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kyoto?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kyoto?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
