The tour guide was a no...
The tour guide was a no show. I paid for this and didn't get the tour. We waited a hour for the tour guide, called the number provided and the number wasn't in service.
Response from the operator: We are sorry for the inconvenience, the driver was there waiting on the outside, where you guys was at the inside of the cruise ship pier ,our pick up location is outside the cruise ship pier ,we still don’t know how we missed those calls ,it was a hectic day ,so sorry once more ,you where refunded on our part ,safe trip back home .

AVOID !!!
Terrible. Only reason I chose this tour was because I was taking my 80 year old mom who has very limited mobility. The driver said the tour was 2hrs and I had to insist it said on Tripadvisor that it was 3hrs. The “free WiFi” didn’t exist in the van and eventually I had to insist to be taken to a restaurant where I could access their WiFi to show the driver it was 3hrs and included a trip to St Ann’s bay. Both the driver and the tour operator refused to create a hotspot on their phone so I could access data to prove the itinerary. I had to ask the driver for help to take the wheelchair out of the boot while I was helping my 80 year old mother out of the van as the thought of helping never even occurred to him. On writing the review I can see the price has increased. My advice would be to take one of the many taxis outside of the cruise terminal who will take you on a much more interesting itinerary. I was so annoyed by the whole experience I terminated the tour and told the driver to drop us at Dunn River Falls and I would organize our own way back. A very nice 72 year old taxi driver took us back to Ocho Rios and gave us a much more enjoyable experience with a history of the island than this tour provided. Very unpleasant experience on this tour - avoid!!!
Response from the operator: Thanks for booking with folkesfortoursjamaica,we apologize for your unpleasant experience, the tour is 3 hrs but because of the cruise ships at other ports we had a lot of traffic ,so sometimes we would spent more at closer sightseeing to the cruise ship than the tours out of town like “st Ann’s bay”and we definitely would not want to risk you being late for your cruise ship,we also apologize for the driver ,it was his first week and last week ,he was not showing much experience with capability of that specific tour , where a handicapped passenger was involved, our Wi-Fi system is working perfectly but the driver just did not know how to access it ,we hope you got home safely and we apologize again for your unpleasant experience with the driver on your highlight tour .

Get out there and see real Jamaica
We would like to big up ICEMAN 🥶🥶 of FOLKS FOR TOURS!! Very experienced guide who is following in his father’s foot steps and is a credit to his business. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. We really enjoyed this trip out. It was good to see a bit of real Jamaica and the people that live here, with all the points of interest being shown and explained to you. We had the opportunity to shop from small shacks up the mountain and also in an air conditioned shop fully stocked with all local goodies . We fully recommend this trip and FOLKS FOR TOURS.
Response from the operator: Thank you for choosing folkesfortoursjamaica for all your transportation, excursions and tour needs ,we are extremely happy to have the opportunity to take you on a highlight tour of the real authentic Jamaica, and to shop with locals and learn more of our language and culture, next time you return to Jamaica we see a little more of the real Jamaica cause time was short ,see you again soon ,God bless !!

Private Ocho Rios Highlights Tour with Pickup: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ocho Rios.
How much does Private Ocho Rios Highlights Tour with Pickup cost?
+

How long does Private Ocho Rios Highlights Tour with Pickup take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ocho Rios is not rushed.
Is Private Ocho Rios Highlights Tour with Pickup worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ocho Rios, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Ocho Rios Highlights Tour with Pickup?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Ocho Rios Highlights Tour with Pickup suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Ocho Rios Highlights Tour with Pickup?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ocho Rios can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ocho Rios and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Ocho Rios Highlights Tour with Pickup start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ocho Rios within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ocho Rios?
+
On Outty we rank every Ocho Rios experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Blue Hole only-from Ocho Rios, Ocho Rios Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls Tour, Blue Hole and Dunn’s River Falls Tour with Lunch and Cocktails at Reggae Hill. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ocho Rios?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ocho Rios?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
