Absolutely the best there is!
I’ve used Sand Dollar for private sunset tours with visitors and also, a few times, as a floating party venue. They are able to accommodate any occasion and they go far out of their way to make each experience successful. We’ve experienced good and bad weather, large and small groups, elaborate and simple events. The Sand Dollar team is on point in every situation.
Response from the operator: Kim, thank you for being such a loyal guest over the years and using us for everything from private sunset tours to full floating parties! Adapting to different weather, group sizes, and event styles is something our whole team takes real pride in. Really glad we have been able to deliver every time no matter the occasion, we look forward to the next one! — Captain Evan

Fun and unique boat experience
This is my 3rd boat cruise with Sand Dollar Boat and Tiki Tours of Naples and I honestly have to say I don’t have enough accolades to describe my experiences with them. They are highly professional, organized and the crew is always taking care of the party from a safety standpoint as well as ensuring everyone is having a good time. In terms of details for the person planning an event with them just know there is ample space for food and beverages. For one event we had Kayla from Bicyclette and HeyDay cater and they provided a layout so we could understand the space and dimensions. If it is someone’s birthday, just keep in mind that an actual candle won’t work but an easy workaround is to have a battery operated candle and have someone turn it off when they blow it out. Easy! All of my experiences have started as a beautiful cruise in the bay and then it turns into a fun dance party. And if you want stunning pictures your party can post, you are define going to get them. Book them for your next event! You will not be disappointed! Sunny wishes, Katherine Dean
Response from the operator: Katherine, three cruises in and still finding new details to rave about, that is exactly the kind of loyalty that means the world to us! Your tips for future guests are gold, the space for catering, the battery candle workaround for birthdays, all genuinely useful for anyone planning an event with us. Glad the crew has kept every experience feeling safe, organized, and fun, and that the bay cruise into dance party formula keeps delivering. Thanks so much for the sunny wishes and for choosing us again and again! — Captain Evan

A must do in Naples!!!
Captain Paul was the BEST! He reached out by phone and helped us navigate the long action at the resort. And was great about making sure he understood our preferences up front for the evening. He told great stories about the area and made sure we were comfortable the whole way. Can’t wait for a repeat.
Response from the operator: That's Captain Paul S. for you — the experience starts long before you ever step on the boat. Taking the time to call ahead, understand what you're looking for and make sure everything goes smoothly from the start is just how he operates. So glad the stories and the evening delivered and we can't wait to have you back! — Captain Evan

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Naples Bay and Port Royal Sunset Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Private Naples Bay and Port Royal Sunset Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $750 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Naples Bay and Port Royal Sunset Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Private Naples Bay and Port Royal Sunset Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Naples Bay and Port Royal Sunset Cruise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Naples Bay and Port Royal Sunset Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Naples Bay and Port Royal Sunset Cruise?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Naples Bay and Port Royal Sunset Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
Naples is the launch point for Everglades airboat rides and Ten Thousand Islands boat tours, along with shelling trips, sunset sails off the pier and small-group food walks downtown. On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marco Island and Naples Pedal or Paddle Kayak Tour, Mangrove Tunnels & Mudflats Kayak Tour - Local Biologist Guides, Manatees and Mangrove Tunnels Small Group Kayak Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
November to April, the dry season with the best wildlife viewing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
