Nice tour, but Murano was Disappointing
Ournpickup was easy, right at the docks and guide was knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. Ride was nice and we walked with guide. The Mutano Glass piece was more of a sales job than an actual tour. If you are looking to buy something then this is a good one. If you want real in depth knowledge and tour of glass, I would suggest another.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback and for your 4-star review. We are very glad to hear that the pickup was smooth, that you enjoyed the boat ride, and that your guide was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Regarding Murano, we are sorry if this part of the experience did not fully meet your expectations. The visit is intended to include a traditional glass-blowing demonstration by the artisans, followed by the opportunity to see different glass pieces and styles within the workshop/gallery. Of course, there is absolutely no obligation to purchase anything, and guests who are not interested in browsing the gallery are always welcome to let the guide know. In your case, the guide also continued with a walk around Murano to show you some of the island and its smaller local shops, which we hope added to the experience. We truly appreciate your comments, as they help us better communicate what the Murano visit includes, especially for guests who are looking for a more technical or in-depth glass-making tour. Thank you again for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back to Italy in the future. Warmest regards, Monica

Good but not great.
We booked an extra hour with the tour company Avventure Belliseme) to travel the canals of Venice by boat. While we did a little of this we ended up with only a four hour tour not the five we paid for. There was no glass blowing on Saturday so we went to the factory and only saw a small demonstration. Most of the time was really perusing the showroom. Anyway we enjoyed being on the boat and the guide was good. But this trip was way too expensive for what we got and not getting the extra hour felt like a jip.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the boat experience and found your guide knowledgeable. As we explained in our private correspondence, your tour began at 12:30 pm with pickup directly at your accommodation. The nearest boarding dock was only about a five-minute walk away. Following your comments, we carefully reviewed the timing with your guide and confirmed that the tour was slightly shorter than planned due to an error on the guide's part. As soon as this was verified, we contacted you and offered a partial refund. Regarding the Murano glassmaking experience, the live glassmaking demonstration is carried out on weekends as well. The difference is that on weekdays there are typically more artisans working in the workshop, so visitors may ( depending on the production of the day ) also see different pieces being created at the same time. The chance therefore to witness the glassmaking process remains an integral part of the experience on Saturdays and Sundays as well. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue to improve, and we are glad that despite this issue you still enjoyed your time on the Venetian canals and your guide's company.

Best Venice Murano Burano tour!
The driver and tour guide were amazing and iso much fun! Nice ride through Venice, pointing out historical sights and the stories behind them. Off to Burano for a walking tour of the island and watch lace being made. Then to Murano for a tour and watch of glass blowing! Beautiful but way over priced. Very beautiful , highly recommend this tour.

Another great time with Sergio
This was our second tour with Sergio, his is special, we had made our day twice and will make anyone’s day, his knowledge of the history of Venice and this two islands is unmatchable, he takes you through the streets of those islands and shares very unique stories with you, he is greeted by many along way, he then takes you to the best glass factory in Murano, if anyone is looking for a tour to enjoy and learn Burano and Murano, this is the tour and Sergio is the person. Thank you!!!

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Murano and Burano VIP Venice Boat Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.
How much does Private Murano and Burano VIP Venice Boat Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $131 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Murano and Burano VIP Venice Boat Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.
Is Private Murano and Burano VIP Venice Boat Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 37 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Murano and Burano VIP Venice Boat Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Murano and Burano VIP Venice Boat Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Murano and Burano VIP Venice Boat Tour?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Murano and Burano VIP Venice Boat Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Venice?
+
On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Venice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Venice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
