    About this experience

Mostar is the capital of Herzegovina region. It is situated in a valley completely surrounded by mountains. Its unique history attracts millions of tourists who visit Mostar every year. The city is divided in two parts by the river Neretva – one being mainly under the western influence, and the other under the oriental one. These two cultures are merged and they meet in the city center, where the spectacular old bridge can be seen. The bridge keepers or mostari were the inspiration for the name of this city. In Hercegovina region as part of this tour we also visit old Ottoman settlement Počitelj from 15th century. Climbing on the walls gives you unforgettable view of Neretva and hercegovian landscape. Optional tours are to Kravice waterfalls and Blagaj village.

    Reliable transfer

We used Mili tours for a private transfer to the airport from Dubrovnik as well as a day tour to Mostar. Ivo was punctual, very professional and informative. I would highly recommend this company for any type of transfer.

    Great day trip to Bosnia

Duro was an absolute rockstar as our private tour guide and driver to Mostar and Kravica Waterfall in Bosnia! His knowledge of the history, culture, and hidden gems of the region was impressive, and he shared it with us in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. He went above and beyond to ensure our trip was seamless and enjoyable, from picking us up at our accommodation to driving us safely to each destination. The way he navigated the scenic roads and shared local tips was fantastic. If you're looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable, Duro is your guy! Highly recommend!

    Mostar tour

We had a great experience working with Mili Tours. My wife and I visited Mostar and our guide was great. He provided a lot of insight into the area and gave us a good amount of time in the city. Ivo also brought us to and from the airport which made things very easy for us. I would definitely use this tour company again when visiting Dubrovnik.

Mladen was an amazing guide and great driver for our day trip to Mostar! He had answers to every single question and was very familiar with the route while also giving us freedom to choose stops along the way. Could not have picked a better guide to make us feel safe and relaxed for our first time in a completely new country. Thank you Mladen!

Private Mostar and Herzegovina tour from Dubrovnik: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.

How much does Private Mostar and Herzegovina tour from Dubrovnik cost?

    +

Prices start at $412 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Mostar and Herzegovina tour from Dubrovnik take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.

Is Private Mostar and Herzegovina tour from Dubrovnik worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Mostar and Herzegovina tour from Dubrovnik?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Mostar and Herzegovina tour from Dubrovnik suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Mostar and Herzegovina tour from Dubrovnik?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Mostar and Herzegovina tour from Dubrovnik start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
