Best tour ever
The Sounio Cape tour offered by Cattaxi came as a recommendation from our Hotel when we had 1 day that we wanted to get out of proper Athens and see some other sites. We have to say this was one of the best experiences we had while in Athens... Our host (Terry), was excellent from the start. If you can request a guide, you should definitely request Terry, his knowledge of the ancient sites was incredible, and he was also a very hospitable host. The minivan we rode in was brand new, super comfortable, and he even provided sodas, juices and water for our family (in a built in cooler). Our trip from our hotel to Sounio was amazing, and we took the scenic route there. Again, this was his doing, as we were just looking to see the Temple of Poseidon. He also gave us the history of all of the areas leading up to the Temple, and gave us some trivia so we could see more than just the temple there. On the trip back he had a video on the pull down screen ready to go for the kids to watch that summarized the experience and kept them interested. I would highly recommend Cattaxi, and especially Terry if you are to go on a day trip or several day private tour, its guaranteed to be very nice.
