A monastery is located on a hill above the beach, dedicated to Saint John.

Sikia Beach
Sikia is one of the most beautiful sea caves on Milos. Sikia Cave was once completely covered, but at some point in the past, the roof collapsed. The end result is a stunning cave with an open top showing the blue Aegean sky. Inside the cave you will find a small beach. Swimming is permitted inside the cave, but keep in mind that the water is extremely cold due to the limited light and deep waters. It is located in the southwest corner of the island and is only accessible by boat.

Amazing day out!
We had the most amazing experience with Milos Charters. Our skipper, Vasilis, was so knowledgeable and friendly. We were lucky enough to be taken to some less crowded areas, with lots of swim spots, caves and beaches. The colours from the landscape had you in awe the whole day. The communication over WhatsApp made the day so easy, they helped us to book a driver on both the pick up and drop off. Could not recommend the experience more!

Beautiful views with great service!
We took 19 Students from the US on a private tour of the Island with three wonderful tour guides who were fun, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. It was the highlight of our trip!

Customizable 5-star safe experience
Milos Charters and their partners (Miltos) gave us the best travel experience of our lifetime. We are very thankful to them for safely taking us from Oia to Milos and then back to Oia for an 11 hr day trip in Oct 2025. I started inquiring about this tour 6 months ago and contacted multiple boat companies in Santorini and Milos. Only Maria Markopoulou from Milos Charters responded with a reasonably priced package. Her communication, efficiency, organization, and courteous customer service are top notch. She kept me updated on every detail through WhatsApp for 6 months until the day of travel. She even organized a private car transfer between our hotel and Oia port. Every single thing was timely and smooth. She treats her customers with a comprehensive service. The boat itself was excellent and very safe. It belonged Maria’s partner company which is owned by Captain Miltos. The captain and his friend, drove us safely from Oia to Polyaigos to all the famous destinations in Milos. We spent 2 hours in Adamantas for lunch. They made our day extremely pleasant and fun. They are also photographers and helped us capture our best moments. It was my very first time in a RIB boat on sea and I was anxious initially, but they made it such a smooth ride for me, despite the sea being choppy.

Best part of our Greek vacation!
Nicolas was a great guide. We swam in popular spots and hidden ones too. We loved it. For others I know, getting to pick drinks or having go pro underwater pic options would be good - so they should consider tacking on package options - but for us, this was the highlight of our week in Greece. Cannot recommend enough!
