Sunny Miami Tours pamphlet was very misleading.

We were told to pay the driver for the tour with our credit card. The driver/tour guide couldn't/wouldn't take the payment. We were not able to see the first two stops. Then those of us taking the boat tour were dumped in a gravel parking lot with no directions. The boat for the boat tour is a three tier, large boat pictured on their pamphlet. None of us signed up for the boat tour could find such a boat, we were told that we had to take the boat taxi, DEFINITELY not the elegant boat represented in their pamphlet.

Overall excellent with one minor gripe

Overall excellent but slightly let down by Little Havana section. This felt like a sales pitch eg cigar shop then souvenir shop then shirt shop, then some rubbish bar. That said the rest was excellent and very informative. We would do it again but make it clear that we would not do the sales pitches !

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that overall you enjoyed the tour and found it informative. We understand that the Little Havana section may have felt like a series of sales pitches. We want to clarify that these stops such as the cigar shops, local markets, and traditional bars—are actually an authentic part of Cuban culture and daily life, and they are an integral part of the experience we offer. That said, we appreciate your perspective and will make it clear in advance that visitors can choose how much time to spend at each stop. We would love to welcome you again and tailor the experience to highlight the parts you enjoyed most. Best regards

    Company canceled "last minute"!

I was completely shocked when 3 hours before our tour was to start, and, after calling Sunny Miami Tours directly to confirm our reservation a week before, I received an email stating the company canceled our reservation! Calls to the company for an explanation went unanswered. TripAdvisor/Viator attempted to help with a different company, but could not accommodate us on such short notice. Stuff happens, but this felt unprofessional on many levels. I was glad I booked through TripAdvisor, however, because I was issued a full refund immediately. Wow wow wow.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify what happened. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the last-minute cancellation. Unfortunately, we experienced an unforeseen emergency involving the assigned tour guide, which made it impossible for us to operate the tour as scheduled. Guest safety and proper tour quality are our top priorities, and under these circumstances, we had no choice but to cancel. We would also like to clarify that Sunny Miami Tours was the party that contacted TripAdvisor/Viator directly to request and authorize your full refund as soon as the situation became clear. This was done to ensure you were not charged for a service we could not provide. We understand how disappointing and frustrating this must have been, especially with such short notice, and we truly regret the impact it had on your plans. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you will consider giving Sunny Miami Tours another opportunity in the future.

Private Miami City Tour with Local Expert & Luxury SUV (6ppl): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.

How much does Private Miami City Tour with Local Expert & Luxury SUV (6ppl) cost?

    +

Prices start at $599 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Miami City Tour with Local Expert & Luxury SUV (6ppl) take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.

Is Private Miami City Tour with Local Expert & Luxury SUV (6ppl) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Miami City Tour with Local Expert & Luxury SUV (6ppl)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Miami City Tour with Local Expert & Luxury SUV (6ppl) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Miami City Tour with Local Expert & Luxury SUV (6ppl)?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Miami City Tour with Local Expert & Luxury SUV (6ppl) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Miami?

    +

Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Miami?

    +

November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Miami?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
