Experience the Eleusinian Mystery Tour
Pericles's tour was AMAZING! We had a 5 hour private tour which included the Keramikos Archaeological site and museum. He was friendly, informative, and personalized our tour giving more time to see sites when needed and added on the newly opened Keramikos site. He was very entertaining and kept us hydrated with plenty of water. He dropped us off at a delicious restaurant he recommended near our hotel. We highly recommend his tour! Lynn Neher, Florida, USA
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Lynn, for your wonderful review! It was a pleasure showing you Athens and personalizing the tour around your interests. We’re delighted you enjoyed Keramikos, the history, and the restaurant recommendation. Thank you for your kind recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back to Greece again!

Too expensive for only transport and very basic historic explanations
This tour is mainly designed to transport you through all the spots of the sacred way like taxi service with very basic historic explanations. Pericles, the chofer, is a nice person, however, for the price of the experience (120€/person) we really expected official guide service included and not only door to door transportation between museums and other spots (with ticket entrances not included by the way).
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. Our tour description clearly states that the service includes transportation along the Sacred Way with basic historical explanations, but does not include an official guide to accompany guests inside archaeological sites, nor are entrance tickets included in the price. We always strive to provide transparent information, and we regret that this detail may have been overlooked. We appreciate your comments and will take them into account to ensure even greater clarity in the future. Best regards, PERICLES CENTURY team

A memorable experience with a dedicated family business
This is a true family business, as Pericles himself told us, started by his father in the 1970s and now continued by his son as the third generation. They genuinely care about their customers, offering a personalized experience and always paying attention to our needs. The tour itself is incredibly unique – there’s simply no other tour available that focuses on both Eleusis and the Sacred Way. We had an amazing time, and we can’t thank Pericles enough for such a memorable experience!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience with us! It means the world to our family to hear that you enjoyed the tour and appreciated the personal touch we strive to provide. We are truly passionate about sharing the rich history of the Sacred Way and Eleusis, and we’re thrilled to know that it made your visit memorable. Your feedback inspires us to continue delivering unique and meaningful experiences. We hope to welcome you again in the future for another journey through Greece’s incredible heritage! 😊

Private Luxury Tour: Mystic Pilgrimage - Kerameikos to Eleusis: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Private Luxury Tour: Mystic Pilgrimage - Kerameikos to Eleusis cost?
+
Prices start at €110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Luxury Tour: Mystic Pilgrimage - Kerameikos to Eleusis take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Private Luxury Tour: Mystic Pilgrimage - Kerameikos to Eleusis worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Luxury Tour: Mystic Pilgrimage - Kerameikos to Eleusis?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Luxury Tour: Mystic Pilgrimage - Kerameikos to Eleusis suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Luxury Tour: Mystic Pilgrimage - Kerameikos to Eleusis?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Luxury Tour: Mystic Pilgrimage - Kerameikos to Eleusis start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis, Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Acropolis E-bike Tour With Entrance Tickets. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
