Great private Mekong Delta day trip
This tour was a perfect mix of culture, nature, and local traditions. Cruising the Mekong’s lush waterways and exploring villages by Bicycle made for an immersive adventure. We loved visiting coconut candy, honey, and handmade goods artisans, gaining insight into local craftsmanship. The fantastic lunch was a highlight—delicious, authentic, and great value for the tour. Listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music was the perfect way to connect with the spirit of the region. Tom was an outstanding guide! His knowledge and enthusiasm made every moment engaging. I highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking an authentic Mekong Delta journey!

Wonderful trip
My family have a wonderful time in this trip especially our kids. We take this tour as a present for them after a hard study. The feelings on the boat under coconut bunch is no explain. We have had many nice pics in this area. The guide, food, and itinerary is so good. We really happy at all. Highly appreciated the operation and will recommend to friends

It was a pleasant trip
Incredibly enjoyable and well planned tour, We had observe the people's life honestly along the Mekong River, I also try taking pictures with the real bee hive. It was a bit nervous at first, but it's also fun after. And a lots of tasty snacks and lunch provided. Our guide made the tour really fun and interesting. We enjoy the trip and her explanation was very clear and really easy to understand.

Very memorable time!
You couldn’t imagine how the “bored countryside” made us memorable time like?! I thought we should spent a peaceful-day for this trip instead of busy capital as Hanoi but We almost exhausted by here lol. To much fun with lots of activities, too many things to learn about the country, first time I touched the Cobra and hide in the tunnels -like a little moles, to reminisce the war period with the heroic story of Vietnamese soldiers. Very impressive, thank to our passion guide-Lee, made our trip better than better.

Wonderful tour
The package is among the must do experience if you are in HCMC. Such an amazing destination not too far from the city centre. Me and my friends, we started at around 7:30am near Ben Thanh market and reached the tunnel at around 10:30am. Many thanks to our tour guide - Mike - he‘s really informative, friendly and has a good English communication. We had a delicious lunch with fish curry near Mekong river. The boat trip was excellent. We were brought to some islands, eat local fruits and food such as honey, coconut candies that made me very impressive. We also made friends with many foreigners, eat and had fun with them. Overall, the trip was short but memorable and full of excitements. Highly recommend this tour!

PRIVATE LUXURY Mekong 1 Day with Biking, Fishing, Cooking Class & BBQ LUNCH: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ho Chi Minh City.
How much does PRIVATE LUXURY Mekong 1 Day with Biking, Fishing, Cooking Class & BBQ LUNCH cost?
+
Prices start at $119 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does PRIVATE LUXURY Mekong 1 Day with Biking, Fishing, Cooking Class & BBQ LUNCH take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ho Chi Minh City is not rushed.
Is PRIVATE LUXURY Mekong 1 Day with Biking, Fishing, Cooking Class & BBQ LUNCH worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule PRIVATE LUXURY Mekong 1 Day with Biking, Fishing, Cooking Class & BBQ LUNCH?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is PRIVATE LUXURY Mekong 1 Day with Biking, Fishing, Cooking Class & BBQ LUNCH suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book PRIVATE LUXURY Mekong 1 Day with Biking, Fishing, Cooking Class & BBQ LUNCH?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does PRIVATE LUXURY Mekong 1 Day with Biking, Fishing, Cooking Class & BBQ LUNCH start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ho Chi Minh City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels Small-Group Tour: Vietnam War Underground Network, Cu Chi underground tour - Learn Vietnam war with others. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
