Great tour by Liam and Ceillhe!

Ceillhe was great to work with as we needed a private tour for 3 couples on a cruise stop. She designed a 6 hour tour that showed us many of Auckland’s major sites and incorporated lots of history and Maori culture into it. We saw Mission Bay, wonderful views of the harbor and bridge. North Shore (our favorite) and ended in Devenport. Thank you for working with us!

    Great half day tour

Our driver guide, Donna, was delightful. Her passion for and knowledge of the Maori culture was fascinating. It was a wonderful introduction to the country. Thanks, Donna.

Response from the operator: Our Private Auckland Half Day Tour aims for our guests to experience the best sights of Auckland City and the marine village of Devonport on Auckland’s North Shore on a Private Luxury Tour just for our guests. We are lucky to be able to live in one of the most beautiful and livable cities in the world, able to share spectacular views of ancient volcanoes, the beautiful Waitemata Harbour and Hauraki Gulf, drive across the Auckland Harbour Bridge and explore some of Auckland’s most famous beaches. Wishing you all the very best and ka kite ano (see you soon) Neill Sperath

Do the Luxury Day Tour - It is WORTH IT!!

I bit the bullet and booked a full day luxury tour of Auckland for the day we were to board a cruise ship for a 14 day trip around NZ and Australia. THE BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! The company easily adjusted the timing (early pick-up and afternoon drop off at the cruise port) and locations we visited for our schedule. The driver was Curtis, remember that name and be sure to ask for him! What an amazing day of sightseeing and learning. I don’t recall ever having such an informative and fascinating day. Curtis was so knowledgeable and easily shared everything with us. And, I asked a ton of questions!! I grilled Curtis on everything from unemployment, NZ history, seismic activity, to wastewater treatment, really! We went to gorgeous beaches, amazing scenery, drove all over town, had a wonderful lunch, and were dropped off right at the cruise ship terminal to board our ship. It was a fantastic we were able to see as much of Auckland as possible in a short span of time, which our primary objective. The incredible learning experience was unanticipated and thoroughly enjoyed. I have nothing but the highest praise for you this tour company. I’m so glad I found them on line and booked the private tour. It was worth every penny, sincerely!

Response from the operator: Here is the short version of what we write about our Private Auckland Luxury Tours: This exclusive tour showcases the very best of Auckland. Our experienced Kaiarahi (host-guides) tailor a private tour that meets your interests while showing cultural and historical sites of significance. We highlight what makes Auckland one of the most desired places to live and visit. This tour aims to give you a ‘sense of place’ while you use all your senses as the best guide. We are of course delighted that you enjoyed our tour and guide so much, noting Curtis is a highly-valued member of our team and we love that you enjoyed being guided by him so much. Ka kite ano (see you again soon)! Neill Sperath

    SUPERIOR COMPANY- highly recommend

I had the best experience with Time Unlimited Tours, they were so prompt with their service. I had a group of 70 people getting transported from one venue to another. It was absolutely hassle free and my guests were very impressed! They were on time, so kind and helpful. Neill and Ceillhe are the loviest people and I just can't recommend their service enough!! 10/10 across the board. I would use this company again, ANY day of the week!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We really enjoyed hosting your group and we had a lot of fun doing it, noting they were a delightful group of people. Thanks again! Neill and Ceillhe

Private Luxury Auckland City & West Coast Tour.: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Auckland.

How much does Private Luxury Auckland City & West Coast Tour. cost?

    +

Prices start at $423 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Auckland usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Luxury Auckland City & West Coast Tour. take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Auckland is not rushed.

Is Private Luxury Auckland City & West Coast Tour. worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Auckland, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Luxury Auckland City & West Coast Tour.?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Private Luxury Auckland City & West Coast Tour. suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Luxury Auckland City & West Coast Tour.?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Auckland can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Auckland and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Luxury Auckland City & West Coast Tour. start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Auckland within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Auckland?

    +

On Outty we rank every Auckland experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hobbiton & Waitomo Caves Guided Day Trip from Auckland incl lunch, Hobbiton Movie Set Small Group Tour with Cheeky Kiwi Travel, Hobbiton & Waitomo Glowworm Caves Tour with Lunch from Auckland. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Auckland?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Auckland?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
