the most amazing day trip around Luxor’s west bank

We spent the best day with Mostafa. He was extraordinarily kind and attentive. He planned the structure of the day perfectly with lots of space for individual wishes and had great ideas and helpful suggestions for the day as well. The sights were fascinating and beautiful. At sunrise we were the only people at Hatshepsut and enjoyed the gorgeous lighting. We had a lovely time and would really recommend this wonderful experience :)

Luxor, coffee, sweets and a wonderful guide! ☕️🍰

We had a really wonderful experience with TAG-TOUR in Luxor. Mustafa was fantastic: kind, helpful, and always attentive to making sure we were comfortable, without ever being intrusive. What I particularly appreciated was his willingness to help even with little requests outside the planned tour. I asked him to take us somewhere to buy traditional Egyptian sweets, and he was more than happy to take us to an authentic local place where we could try and buy some delicious local specialties. And if you feel like having a good coffee during the day, just ask Mustafa he’ll definitely know where to take you! ☕️ We felt very comfortable throughout the whole experience and really appreciated his kindness and attention to detail. I definitely recommend TAG-TOUR and, if I come back to Luxor, I would absolutely choose them again!

Best tour in Luxor!!

After 10 days in Egypt, this was by far the best tour we took because our guide Ibrahim was so wonderful. He speaks perfect English and is incredibly knowledgeable. Our driver was also excellent and we had a newer car with good ac as well. Highly recommended!!

West bank full day trip

The tour was great. There was a suggested itinerary but we could plan the day exactly as we wanted and spend as much or as little time as we wanted at each stop. Mostafa was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable throughout our trip, which allowed us to fully enjoy the tour.

Great guide, reliable and supportive Operator

We had a great experience with Tag Tour. They handled all the entrance fees and I had a tour starting at 7am and finishing at 4pm. Our guide Sayed was very experienced and knowledgeable, he answered all our questions not only about the places we visited but also about Cairo and Egypt overall. We had the pleasure to travel again with Mostafa who also picked us up from the airport the a couple of days before. We felt cared and supported by the Tag Tour operator as they were very flexible and ready to accommodate us. I highly recommend this tour and would definitely use their service again in the future. At the end of our tour since we booked through them the airport drop off, we were taken straight to the airport without the need to change cars.

Private luxor Full Day Valle of Kings, Queens, Hatshepsut &More: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Luxor.

How much does Private luxor Full Day Valle of Kings, Queens, Hatshepsut &More cost?

+

Prices start at $10 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Luxor usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private luxor Full Day Valle of Kings, Queens, Hatshepsut &More take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Luxor is not rushed.

Is Private luxor Full Day Valle of Kings, Queens, Hatshepsut &More worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Luxor, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private luxor Full Day Valle of Kings, Queens, Hatshepsut &More?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private luxor Full Day Valle of Kings, Queens, Hatshepsut &More suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private luxor Full Day Valle of Kings, Queens, Hatshepsut &More?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Luxor can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Luxor and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private luxor Full Day Valle of Kings, Queens, Hatshepsut &More start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Luxor within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Luxor?

+

On Outty we rank every Luxor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Tour of Luxor West Bank Temples and Tombs (Private), Luxury Sunrise Balloon Ride in Luxor with Hotel Pickup, Luxor Day Tour: Valley of Kings & Queens & Hatchepsut Temples. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Luxor?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Luxor?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
