Had a lovely experience with the Marriott Bonvoy driver service. The ride was comfortable, the vehicle was clean and well-maintained, and everything was well coordinated. Excellent and informative day out
I had an excellent day out. My driver Amr arrived promptly at the agreed 7am time at my Luxor hotel in a clean modern car. Given the one way trip and nature of the sites there were separate local guides at Edfu and Kom Ombo. Both were waiting for me as I arrived with Amr having phoned ahead with updated arrival time and the handoff was seamless. It worked well and both were friendly and informative. I had about an hour at each site and was dropped at my Aswan hotel shortly after 2pm. Arriving mid morning at the sites works well as the cruise ships have been and gone by that point so it’s quite quiet. A very pleasant, well organised day and recommended.

Wonderful Experience
We had a great experience during the whole tour. It was very informative, and we learned a lot about Egyptian history, especially while visiting Edfu and Kom Ombo. Ahmed was an excellent guide and shared many interesting and useful details about the High Dam, Philae Temple, and the Unfinished Obelisk. Our driver was very polite and professional, which made the journey comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore and understand the history of this beautiful part of Egypt.

Excellent Transfer from Aswan to Luxor with Kom Ombo & Edfu
I booked this private transfer from Aswan to Luxor with stops at Kom Ombo and Edfu, and it was the perfect decision for my solo trip. The Car: The company provided a Mitsubishi Xpander, which was a huge plus. The road between Aswan and Luxor can be quite bumpy, but this SUV handled it perfectly. The rear ceiling AC vents made the ride very comfortable for me in the back seat. The Driver: My driver, Amr, was fantastic. He picked me up promptly at 8:00 AM from my Aswan hotel. I spent a total of about 2 hours visiting both temples, and we arrived at my Luxor hotel safely before 5:00 PM. Although we communicated in simple English, everything went smoothly. Amr was very helpful—he waited for me in the parking lots and always pointed out exactly where the ticket offices and entrances were. The Highlights: 1. Skipping the Horse Carriages at Edfu: This was a major benefit. With this private car, I was able to go directly to the temple parking lot, avoiding the hassle of the horse carriages. 2. Smooth Logistics: The driver handled all the police checkpoints efficiently, so I didn't have to worry about anything. Overall, a stress-free and comfortable way to travel between the two cities.
