A delightful experience
For three gorgeous days Laurent was the perfect guide for me. He was relaxed and fun yet filled with information about the art, history, villages and beautiful landscapes of Provence. I felt like i was traveling with a friend who had many interests that aligned with mine . The experience totally met my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to folks with Provençal travel plans.
Response from the operator: Hi Susan, thank you for sharing your experience, it means a lot to us and I know other people really appreciate hearing what you have to say and your personal experience. Thank you for your kind words and truly it was lovely spending three days together to show you a little of Provence. I hope you'll find time in the future and come back and visit us again. In the meantime, enjoy the summer. Best wishes to you, Laurent OohProvence.

Christopher and Provence! What’s Not To Love?!
Where do we begin! We had such a lovely time with Christopher. He provided us with such a comfortable, fun, and relaxing experience. We arranged to have him swing by our hotel to pick us up, and transportation was amazing; his car is so well maintained and very clean which we really appreciated. Christopher’s calm, friendly demeanor made him a great guide. It was like traveling with a friend. He is clearly loved by many of the attendants at each location, which speaks to his character. We learned a lot about wine, the olive oil process, history of the castle & towns, and more (he is a wealth of knowledge - from nature, to art, to food, etc. He gave us great insight about food pairings with different wines which we loved, as that’s tricky for us to decide. Overall, a lovely day with an amazing guide - you will NOT be disappointed!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, I was very humbled by you kind words and lovely review. Thank you for sharing your experience, it means a lot. It was awesome spending a part of this special occasion with you both and wish you both many more to come. Maybe you should make Provence your anniversary go to each year ;-) Hope to see you again and enjoy the rest of your stay in the South of France. Cordialement Christopher OohProvence

An Excellent Day in Provence with a New Friend
Our tour with Chris was a wonderful way to spend a day exploring the Luberon Valley. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel in Arles, he provided an experience that was educational and more importantly, FUN. We visited vineyards and an olive oil mill and were able to sample some lovely understated wines and some pretty mind-blowing olive oil varieties. Chris ferried us all about and took us to grab a quick bite in Lourmarin before visiting the Chateau du Lourmarin. We did a good bit of riding but Chris paced out the stops so that it didn’t feel like we were trapped in the car and we enjoyed plenty of walking around some gorgeous places. Our time chatting and walking around with Chris didn’t feel so much like a guided tour as a visit with a friend. We truly enjoyed his company and cannot recommend OohProvence tours enough. If you are looking for an immersive experience that isn’t too serious (although I’m sure they could be if that was your thing), then reach out to Chris and Laurent.
Response from the operator: Hey guys! thank you for your review and sharing your experience with other people - it was an absolute pleasure and super nice to spend the day with you all. You actually chose one of my Top 5 tours as combining wine tasting to discover the Luberon with olive oil and the historic and very charming village of Lourmarin and it's château, for me gives a nice rounded full day experience of this incredibly beautiful part of Provence. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and super happy you enjoyed my company for the day - I enjoyed your's too and likewise feel we've made new friends. Here's to next year and let's meet up again! Best wishes from us Christopher & Laurent OohProvence

Wonderful, stress free day in Provence
ne of the highlights on our recent Mediterranean cruise was the opportunity to spend the day with OohProvence and Christopher Curtis. After arriving in Marseille, Christopher picked us up at the cruise dock and we spent an amazing day exploring some of the less crowded areas of Provence--an olive farm, a farmer's market, a castle and some wonderful wine tasting. Chris was a great communicator (in English and French) and had some fantastic ideas for a wide range of activities that we would never have known about. He was also careful to get us back to the ship on time for sailing that night. I highly recommend OohProvence for your guide to Provence--luxurious and stress-free.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to review your experience with us, it means a lot and I know that other visitors regard reviews positively. It was an absolute pleasure to meet you both and in the time we had show you a little of Provence. I hope the rest of your vacation passed well and hope we will see you again in Provence - there's a lot still we have to show you! Best wishes Christopher OohProvence

How much does Private Luberon Wine & Food Tour, Vineyards, Olive Oil, Lourmarin cost?
+
Prices start at $195 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marseille usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Luberon Wine & Food Tour, Vineyards, Olive Oil, Lourmarin take?
+

Is Private Luberon Wine & Food Tour, Vineyards, Olive Oil, Lourmarin worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marseille, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Luberon Wine & Food Tour, Vineyards, Olive Oil, Lourmarin?
+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Luberon Wine & Food Tour, Vineyards, Olive Oil, Lourmarin?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marseille can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marseille and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Luberon Wine & Food Tour, Vineyards, Olive Oil, Lourmarin start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marseille within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marseille?
+
On Outty we rank every Marseille experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marseille Food Tour – Full Meal of Local Tastes by Do Eat Better, Beyond Bouillabaisse: Diving into Marseille’s Multicultural Stew, Marseille Guided Tour for 4 Hours with a Bilingual Local Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marseille?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marseille?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
