    Our driver Donovan was...

Our driver Donovan was very friendly and informative - providing lots of information on the towns/villages and landscapes we travelled through en route to Kingston. The museum itself was a good experience showing insights to Bob Marleys career and life. Our guide went the extra mile for us calling in at a pharmacy on request as well as a souvenir shop on the way home.

Response from the operator: at island jam we are like a family to each and every customers. we go above and beyond for our customers in a warm welcoming atmosphere .we at island jam tour are please to asist

A fun cultural experience not to be missed

A fantastic trip out into the mountains and through the outskirts of Kingston. Donovan our guide was very friendly and helpful, he was great at explaining all the interesting places and pointed out things we could have never known if not. The Bob Marley museum was really well organized and the guide was friendly and funny, which really made the whole experience light hearted but still very informative. 💯 recommend this trip.

Response from the operator: our motto is customers will always be more than happy using our services we are like a family away from home

    Buyer Beware of tour company

The driver wasvan hour late. Lincoln thwn told us he was not going to take the toll roads( which would have been safer) he said the company didnt give him toll money so he took us the back scenic dangerous route. Lincoln drove like he was an indy race driver. We held on for dear life. During our indy drive he indicated we would go to Bob Marley tour and come back. I told him we also paid for Dover house and emancipation park and we expect to be taken there. He agreed. The Bob Marley tour was awesome so much history our guide there was entertaining. Webwent to Dover house Lincoln didnt get our tickets. We walked around . Emancipation Park was very educational. Since we didnt get our tickets to tour Dover house Lincoln agreed to take us to a store for soda...words cannot express the store he took us to. Although he was in a hurrybhe made time to stop on the side of the road where his vendors/:friends werebwaiting eargerly. I told him we would not be buying anything but he stopped anyway. We told them no thank you andbI held a baby and we were back to the races. I gave this tour a couple of stars for the bob marley and emancipation park. I have to say as a travel agent I would definitely not recommend going with this company. They need to pay their drivers to use toll road. Also they need to play Bob Marley music to get customers ready. This company definitely needs more communication and better management. Tracy

Response from the operator: first of all we welcome all our guest with great admiration love honesty and care we at island jam tour go beyond to make our guest have a great vacation. our guest was not at the appropriate pick up spot were they should be they use another hotel for the pick up point in which the driver have difficulty finding them. the toll road is optional for use our tour take you along the country side that gives you a very informative and an educational tour while journey to kingston.you cannot do a tour at the bob marley museum and less you have a ticket so that's not making sense the devon house is a place for refreshments and the best ice cream in jamaica there in no fee for that so that's no making no sense not talking the truth..we at island jam tours are a committed and trustworthy company for many years.

Private Kingston and Bob Marley Museum Tour from Ocho Rios: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ocho Rios.

How much does Private Kingston and Bob Marley Museum Tour from Ocho Rios cost?

    +

Prices start at $125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ocho Rios usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Kingston and Bob Marley Museum Tour from Ocho Rios take?

    +

Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ocho Rios is not rushed.

Is Private Kingston and Bob Marley Museum Tour from Ocho Rios worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ocho Rios, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Kingston and Bob Marley Museum Tour from Ocho Rios?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Kingston and Bob Marley Museum Tour from Ocho Rios suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Kingston and Bob Marley Museum Tour from Ocho Rios?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ocho Rios can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ocho Rios and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Kingston and Bob Marley Museum Tour from Ocho Rios start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ocho Rios within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ocho Rios?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ocho Rios experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Blue Hole only-from Ocho Rios, Ocho Rios Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls Tour, Blue Hole and Dunn’s River Falls Tour with Lunch and Cocktails at Reggae Hill. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ocho Rios?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ocho Rios?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
