    Good overview walking tour

This was a good overview walking tour of the Jewish Quarter in Krakow. The guide took us to the main attractions and discussed them. The style was a bit mechanical. For the Schindler's Museum I would not do a guide. The museum is really comprehensive. You could spend at least a half day there. Because of the time limit on the guided portion I felt we were rushed. This is not the guide's fault. It is more of a preference of how I would do the museum.

Kazimierz and Schindler - an education and a joy ...

A superb tour of the Old Jewish Quarter in Krakow and a fascinating tour of the Oskar Schindler Museum. Both were booked through Viator and were well managed from start to finish. The Tour Guide was friendly and informative and spoke very good English. Regretfully neither Viator not the Tour Guide could pre-arrange the weather but the day was not a waste of time and it did not dampen our spirits.

    WWII Tour NOT Schindler’s Factory

This tour is a great choice if you’re looking for historical insight into World War II from Poland’s perspective, particularly regarding the Jewish population in Krakow. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I especially appreciated how she repeated key facts—it really helped the information stick, especially for the kids. However, I rated this tour 3 stars because of a bait-and-switch by the tour company. Despite being advertised as a tour of Schindler’s Factory, it is not. The actual factory was taken over by the state and now functions as an art museum, which is not included in the tour. Schindler had liquidated the factory before leaving, and today, only one pot and his administrative office remain. What this tour actually covers is the administrative side of the factory, which has been converted into a World War II museum.

A Fine Tour Light on Schindler

Fascinating look at Jewish life in Krakow before and after World War II. Unlike in Warsaw, much of the old Jewish quarter physically survives. The guide was excellent. However, the Schindler tour was a disappointment. The Schindler museum was really focused on Krakow and the Jews during World War II with relatively little to do with Schindler and his factory.

    Very Informative and Moving Tour

Signing up for this tour is a great way to get to see historic points of interest and skip the (very long) line at the Schindler museum. The people of Krakow have done a magnificent job of cultivating an experience that walks you through the tragic days from the Nazi invasion through liberation. Do not miss this tour, it is worth every minute!

Private Jewish Quarter Kazimierz & Schindlers Factory Guided Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.

How much does Private Jewish Quarter Kazimierz & Schindlers Factory Guided Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Jewish Quarter Kazimierz & Schindlers Factory Guided Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.

Is Private Jewish Quarter Kazimierz & Schindlers Factory Guided Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 79 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Jewish Quarter Kazimierz & Schindlers Factory Guided Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Jewish Quarter Kazimierz & Schindlers Factory Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Jewish Quarter Kazimierz & Schindlers Factory Guided Tour?

    +

Around 28 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Jewish Quarter Kazimierz & Schindlers Factory Guided Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krakow?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krakow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krakow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
