Amazing Full Day Tour of Jerusalem.
My son and I had a private tour of Jerusalem on 12/4/25 with Yariv of Israeli Guide Ltd. This was our first time to Israel. Yariv brought the history of Jerusalem to life! We began our tour with Yariv timely picking us up at our hotel (The Inbal). He drove us in a comfortable vehicle to the Mount of Olives where we had beautiful view of the old city. Yariv provided us with an easy to understand overview of the city. He provided context to how the three major monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) came to and shaped Jerusalem. We then traveled to the City of David where we explored this archeological site both above and below ground. We traveled through a tunnel where we encountered the Western Wall of the Second Temple. We then traveled above ground and around the walls of this ancient city. Throughout our exploring Yariv shared the significance of the walls and city within. We then prayed at the Western Wall. From there, Yariv brought us to the Temple Mount! We explored the Temple Mount in a respectful manner. We learned about the Dome of the Rock and Al Asqa Mosque. We then made our way through the Arab Quarter. We had amazing hummus and falafel at a local restaurant. From there we followed the path of Jesus. We stopped in at a Coptic Church where we went to an underground cistern. From There we went to the Church of the Sepulchre. Yariv explained the complex relationship of the 6 Christian Denominations that maintain the church. Truly a special experience From there we toured the Jewish Quarter and shopped for keepsakes. The day ended with Yariv dropping us off at our hotel. Yariv brought the Old and New Testaments to life leaving my son and I with memories that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend Yariv and Israeli Guide Ltd for this tour and cannot wait to tour the coast of Israel with his group on Sunday!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful and detailed review 🙏 It was truly an honor to introduce you and your son to Jerusalem and to experience the city through your first visit. I’m grateful for your trust and thrilled that the day left you with meaningful memories. Looking forward to touring the coast with you very soon!

Private Jerusalem Excursion by Train on a Budget: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tel Aviv.
How much does Private Jerusalem Excursion by Train on a Budget cost?
+
Prices start at $550 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tel Aviv usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Jerusalem Excursion by Train on a Budget take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tel Aviv is not rushed.
Is Private Jerusalem Excursion by Train on a Budget worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tel Aviv, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Jerusalem Excursion by Train on a Budget?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Jerusalem Excursion by Train on a Budget suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Jerusalem Excursion by Train on a Budget?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tel Aviv can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tel Aviv and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Jerusalem Excursion by Train on a Budget start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tel Aviv within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tel Aviv?
+
On Outty we rank every Tel Aviv experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Carmel Market Tasting Tour - LocaLocal, Guided Pub Crawl Night Tour at Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv Street Art & Graffiti Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tel Aviv?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tel Aviv?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
