2. Jeita Grotto

   Descend into one of the most spectacular cave systems in the world — a UNESCO tentative World Heritage Site and a top-five finalist in the New 7 Wonders of Nature competition. Jeita Grotto is a network of two interconnected limestone caves stretching over 9 kilometres beneath the Lebanese mountains. The upper cave is explored on foot along an elevated walkway, revealing a soaring cathedral of stalactites and stalagmites — some towering over 8 metres tall — formed over millions of years. The lower cave is navigated by silent electric boat along an underground river, gliding through chambers of unearthly beauty lit with soft light. It is an experience unlike anything else in the Middle East and one of Lebanon's greatest natural treasures.

3. The Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon

   Arrive at the Harissa mountain sanctuary and visit the iconic bronze statue of Our Lady of Lebanon — standing 8.5 metres tall on a stone pedestal at 650 metres above sea level, arms outstretched toward the Mediterranean below. One of the most recognisable religious monuments in the entire Middle East, the shrine draws pilgrims and visitors from across Lebanon, the Arab world, and beyond. The Maronite Basilica and surrounding churches complete one of Lebanon's most important pilgrimage complexes. Your driver shares the history and significance of the shrine and the deep Maronite Christian heritage it represents.

4. Ride the famous Harissa Téléférique — the cable car that connects the seafront at Jounieh to the mountaintop shrine at Harissa, rising 650 metres above sea level in a few breathtaking minutes. The aerial views over Jounieh Bay, the Mediterranean coastline, and the Lebanese mountain ranges on the descent are among the most spectacular in Lebanon — and one of the most photographed experiences in the entire country. A highlight of the day that combines pure exhilaration with genuinely unforgettable scenery.

5. Jounieh

   Lunch in Jounieh — optional After descending from Harissa, enjoy a relaxed lunch at one of Jounieh's waterfront restaurants — fresh Lebanese mezze and seafood served with views over the bay and the mountain you just rode down from.
