Fully customisable tour of Jaipur
It was an amazing day. We booked as it was customisable and it didn’t disappoint. From the requested later departure to missing out some usual key sights it really was our tour. Our driver Mr Bablu was skilful during the fairly challenging long drive. Any other driver might have taken longer but his experience showed. He was courteous and had an ample supply of water. Then we met the amazingly creative Jaisingh Chohan our guide when in Jaipur. Ask for him by name as he made a great day - fabulous! From the outset he asked us what we wanted from the day. He quickly picked up we liked real life and specialist skills and architecture. We asked to leave out one fight to shorten the day. We also clarified we weren’t fussed about the museum side. So instead we did real block printing, saw amazing sculptures and carving for the kings memorials and also walked through the shops in Jaipur, even past his old school rather than a rickshaw. You need both these guys for a great trip! It is a long day but if time is short it’s possible. The roads are not for the faint hearted. The driving of other drivers will make you not want to look but it was an outstanding experience. In addition Jai took photos of our day and made it into a video. No ordinary photos- clever arty ones. Don’t go with a group- Go private and personalised!! Apart from one, photos are Jai’s skills not mine!
