Fantastic company
Excellent tour, with a first class driver who was very helpful - I wasa solo traveller with disabilities, but he helped me see everything that I wanted to see. I actually did a few trips with this company and can't recommend them highly enough. On each occasion (the city tour, a shopping trip, and a tour to the ancient monasteries of St Paul and St Anthony) the drivers were prompt, professional, helpful and good company.
Response from the operator: Hello Beth 👋🏼. Gosh .... thank you! What an amazing review. We are so pleased we were able to help you get the most from your Hurghada holiday. Best wishes and many thanks from everyone here at 123 Taxi & Tours Hurghada.

Impression of the city
We did the city tour with 2 daughters aged 11 and 14. The aim is to see the highlights of the city. We visited the harbour, the mosque and the cathedral. We got an impression of the city and the guide was ok. A bit let down but ok. The city is in no way comparable to a European city, but do you really need to do this? Not really, visit the mosque and you have seen the most important thing.
Response from the operator: Good afternoon StijnK61. Thank you for taking the time to review your Hurghada city tour. I must admit that your 3 stars has surprised us as this is a very popular and highly rated city tour. For this reason I have looked closely at the reviews you have also left for the places you revisited on the city tour, to see if we can learn anything from these. However, first I must address your comment about your driver, who you refer to as your guide. I believe I have identified the correct WhatsApp booking for your tour. By doing this I can see in the WhatsApp chat messages that our team confirmed that your driver was not a guide and would not act as your guide. On the city tour you visited Al Mina Mosque, Saint Shenouda Cathedral, local markets and Hurghada Marina. Your reviews of your visit to Al Mina Mosque and Hurghada marina suggest that you enjoyed your time at these locations, which certainly is good to hear. However you do suggest that Al Mina Mosque is the only place in Hurghada worth visiting. You also mention that Hurghada city does not compare to European cities. We are sad to hear that Hurghada city disappointed you. Everyone here at 123 Taxi & Tours Hurghada send you their best wishes and do hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Private Hurghada City Tour From Makadi: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hurghada.
How much does Private Hurghada City Tour From Makadi cost?
+
Prices start at $122 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hurghada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Hurghada City Tour From Makadi take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hurghada is not rushed.
Is Private Hurghada City Tour From Makadi worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hurghada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Hurghada City Tour From Makadi?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Hurghada City Tour From Makadi suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Hurghada City Tour From Makadi?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hurghada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hurghada and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Hurghada City Tour From Makadi start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hurghada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hurghada?
+
On Outty we rank every Hurghada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hurghada Diving Adventure one Day with two Dives Boat Trip, Hurghada to Cairo: Pyramids & Museum for First-Time Visitors, Scuba Diving Full Day Boat Trip W/Lunch & Transfer from Hurghada. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hurghada?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hurghada?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
