An unforgettable gastronomic and historical experience in the heart of Athens!
Our participation in the Private Historic Food Walk was by far the best experience of our trip to Athens! It wasn't just a tour with food, but a deep and exciting journey into the history, culture, and flavors of the city. From the first moment, our guide was extremely hospitable, kind, and knowledgeable. The fact that the tour was private allowed us to follow a very relaxed pace, ask questions, and feel like we were walking with a local friend who knows every hidden corner. The route was perfectly designed. The food was simply amazing and the portions were more than filling! We tried traditional Thessaloniki hot koulouri, authentic handmade pies with crispy crust, select local cheeses and cold cuts, and of course, the ultimate Greek street food, souvlaki. The highlight of the day was stopping for traditional Greek coffee in the hollow and delicious, hot loukoumades drizzled with honey and cinnamon in a wonderful, historic little shop. I suggest you book her at the beginning of your trip, as the guide's tips and suggestions on where to eat in the coming days proved to be "golden"! Thank you for a wonderful day, we will surely choose you again!
