Fun packed day

We had a fabulous day. The hike was 4 hours, straight up, along Granite ricks ending at the incredible temple. Then we walked up hundreds of steps to see the Buddha carved in the granite cliff, 10th century. The views were incredible, but make sure you dress accordingly. Our guide was in an entemology club so he pointed out beetles which was a fun touch. He loved talking Korean culture and politics which we loved hearing about. We also had a lunch with two kinds of tofu stew, so good. The spa was naked, hot tub, then freezing cold tub, then back and forth. There was some screaming, but all in fun. A great finish to a full day.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We're delighted you enjoyed the hike, the temple, the delicious tofu stew, and even the beetle spotting! It was a pleasure sharing Korean culture with you. We hope to welcome you back to Korea for another adventure..!!

Best day!

Fantastic day. My husband and I both agreed that this was our favorite day of our 2 week trip. Wonderful guide. It is a true hike to get to the top, but our guide was patient and encouraged me all the way to the top. My husband scaled it no easy peasy. the climb was worth it, the view is spectacular and the temple is beautiful. We went to a small family restaurant and had a wonderful meal (we are vegetarians, which had been a challenge elsewhere, but not here.) The spa was a unique experience that I will not forget. The ladies are kind and helpful if you have never been to a bathhouse before. Great day and thank-you.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We’re truly honored that this was your favorite day of your two-week trip. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the hike, and we’re especially happy that our guide’s patience and encouragement helped make the climb a rewarding experience. The breathtaking view from the top is certainly worth the effort! We’re also delighted that you had a memorable meal at the local family restaurant and that the vegetarian options worked well for you. Finally, we’re so glad you embraced the bathhouse experience and felt welcomed by the kind staff. Thank you again for sharing your experience. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable adventure in the future..!!

Local Slice of Life w/Mr. Kim

Mr. Kim provided an authentic feeling experience of meeting a local and spending some time. Nothing felt touristy. The spa, the lunch restaurant, and the conversation offers a genuine slice of life. I really liked this aspect. I can of course hike popular trails solo. This booking was an off the beaten path experience.

Response from the operator: Here is our world best hiking tour guide Chance Kim's response. Thank you for your wonderful feedback. I'm happy that the experience felt authentic and different from typical tourist activities. It was great meeting you.

Private Hiking to Bukhansan & Korean Style Spa(Include Lunch): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.

How much does Private Hiking to Bukhansan & Korean Style Spa(Include Lunch) cost?

+

Prices start at $82 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Hiking to Bukhansan & Korean Style Spa(Include Lunch) take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.

Is Private Hiking to Bukhansan & Korean Style Spa(Include Lunch) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 37 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Hiking to Bukhansan & Korean Style Spa(Include Lunch)?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Hiking to Bukhansan & Korean Style Spa(Include Lunch) suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Hiking to Bukhansan & Korean Style Spa(Include Lunch)?

+

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Hiking to Bukhansan & Korean Style Spa(Include Lunch) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seoul?

+

On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seoul?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seoul?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
