    EPCOT Fireworks helicopter flight

Booked the nighttime EPCOT Fireworks flight 40-45 minutes. Communication with the team at Max Flight was really good and we found the location easily. We were greeted by our pilot who was friendly and talked us through the route we would fly and safety procedures. We were then taken out to the helicopter where we had our pictures taken both outside and inside the helicopter. Our flight took us over the main theme parks and attractions including sea world, Epic Universe and Universal and then we arrived at EPCOT in time for the fireworks (the main reason we booked the flight). It was brilliant. Our pilot played the soundtrack and we flew back and forth and enjoyed the entire performance. The view was brilliant. We then flew over the Animal Kingdom and 192 before landing. We bought the email photo package which was very reasonable at $25. It was a great experience that I would highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed review! We're thrilled to hear that you had an amazing experience on our EPCOT Fireworks Tour. It's wonderful to know that our team made the booking process easy, our pilot helped you feel comfortable and informed, and that you enjoyed the scenic route over Orlando's famous attractions before arriving just in time for the fireworks. Hearing that the synchronized soundtrack and aerial view of the show made the experience so memorable truly means a lot to us. We're also glad you enjoyed the photo package as a keepsake of your flight. Thank you for your recommendation and for choosing MaxFlight Helicopters. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable adventure the next time you're in Central Florida! 🚁✨🎆

I paid $225 to be insulted

During registration, i put in everyone weight, paid, ect. When i got there, i was told that together we exceeded the weight capacity. The guy helping the pilot was aggressive, threatening and very rude- combative really. asked him what steps he used to help my mom in the helicopter. He instantly became irate and spewed this : " because YOU ARE OVER WEIGHT, and before you accuse me of whatever your going to, I did all that stuff" I never raised my voice, never made any nasty remarks. I paid their fee of $225 × 3 and recieved body shaming - hate and accused of attempting to accuse him of something. I had no intention of accusing him of anything- I just wanted to know WHY my companion wasnt able to get in the helicopter!! I told the very friendly pilot - during the trip, his partner needed an attitude adjustment. I will add that after the flight he was almost perfect gentleman smiling, sweet talking - but never apologized!

Response from the operator: We take customer feedback seriously, but this review contains several inaccuracies that need to be addressed. 1. At no point was anyone bullied or harassed by our staff. We have video footage of the interaction, which shows our employee attempting to assist your elderly mother safely into the helicopter. He never stated that she could not fly because of her weight. Your mother herself acknowledged that he was trying to help her. Unfortunately, due to her limited mobility and difficulty stepping into the aircraft safely, she was unable to board comfortably, and we will never force a passenger into a situation that may be unsafe. 2. Our company clearly communicates FAA-required weight limitations through multiple channels, including texts, emails, and phone calls prior to booking. These restrictions are in place strictly for passenger safety. Based on the information provided at booking, adjustments ultimately had to be made on-site, resulting in only two passengers being able to fly. This decision was related solely to FAA safety compliance and not body shaming or discrimination of any kind. 3. The passenger who did not fly is receiving a full refund. We do not withhold refunds for services not provided. 4. Our facility is equipped with security cameras, and the entire interaction was recorded. The footage shows our employee remaining professional and respectful throughout the encounter despite being verbally confronted. Our team’s priority was to maintain safety and assist your family appropriately. 5. Due to the nature of this interaction and the treatment of our staff, we will no longer be able to provide future services to you. We are committed to providing a safe and positive experience for both our customers and employees, and passenger safety will always remain our top priority. 6. If any employee had acted in the manner described in your review, we would have addressed it immediately and done everything possible to make the situation right. However, after reviewing the recorded interaction, we are confident that our staff acted professionally and appropriately throughout the encounter.

    10/10 recommend

I did the engagement package as a surprise, and it was awesome. They did great at keeping it a secret all the way until I walked my girlfriend out to propose. Very friendly staff and the pilot was great as well.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that your engagement surprise went perfectly. It was a pleasure to be part of such a special moment. Congratulations to you both, and we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Private Helicopter After-hours 48 Miles Tour Theme Parks&Downtown: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Orlando.

How much does Private Helicopter After-hours 48 Miles Tour Theme Parks&Downtown cost?

    +

Prices start at $236 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Orlando usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Helicopter After-hours 48 Miles Tour Theme Parks&Downtown take?

    +

Plan for about 0.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Orlando is not rushed.

Is Private Helicopter After-hours 48 Miles Tour Theme Parks&Downtown worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 170 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Orlando, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Helicopter After-hours 48 Miles Tour Theme Parks&Downtown?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Helicopter After-hours 48 Miles Tour Theme Parks&Downtown suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Helicopter After-hours 48 Miles Tour Theme Parks&Downtown?

    +

Around 59 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Orlando can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Orlando and add a light layer if any part of the 0.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Helicopter After-hours 48 Miles Tour Theme Parks&Downtown start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Orlando within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Orlando?

    +

Orlando is a park town with a wetland wrapped around it. Multi-day theme park tickets and skip-ahead passes dominate, but the highest-satisfaction days are often the ones nobody plans: airboat runs on the St. Johns, manatee swims at Crystal River, and Kennedy Space Center on a launch day. We rank on wait-time value and how honestly an operator describes what is included. On Outty we rank every Orlando experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Escape Game Orlando: Epic 60-Minute Adventures on I-Drive, Kennedy Space Center with Transport from Orlando and Kissimmee, Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Orlando?

    +

January to April, before the humidity and the afternoon thunderstorms settle in. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Orlando?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
