A 30 min drive takes us to our main attraction. Embrace the magical setting of this world-famous Harry Potter film location and witness the ‘Hogwarts Express’ steam train crossing the Glenfinnan Viaduct. It is our aim to arrive by 12:20pm, the Jacobite train can be best seen form the hill beyond the viaduct, it is a 25 min walk, with the train expected between 1:10 and 1:30pm

Traveling with Small Kiddos!
We booked this private tour with E2G tours because we were traveling with small kids. They were able to provide car seats, and it felt like a better option with the kids. For us, it was less about the Harry Potter aspect, and more about seeing certain sites. Simon was our guide for the day and he was absolutely fantastic. He reached out personally about a week before our tour to introduce himself - communication was always great. Since it was just us, we were able to customize the stops just a little bit. Since I was so excited to see the Highland Coos, we actually stopped to see some twice during the day. Along the way, Simon gave us all kinds of tidbits and facts about the area. He was so fun and sweet to the kids as well. The day was long, and when they started melting down towards the end of the day (to be expected!) Simon was very flexible and patient as well. I would like to say I would love to take this tour with Simon again, but truthfully, I want to go back to Scotland and stay longer in a wider part of the beautiful country. Thank you Simon for showing off your spectacular country!

Perfect was to explore the Highlands
Taiymur was wonderful and built a custom plan to see what was important to us. He is very knowledgeable about the areas and Scottish history. He made great suggestions based on our interests. He was thoughtful in providing snacks, water and umbrellas. Highly recommend.

Harry Potter themed Scottish Highlands tour
Our trip to the Scottish Highlands with our guide Corinne was absolutely one of the highlights of our time in Scotland! She was genuinely one of the most welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable people I’ve met in a long time. Her passion for Scotland and the Highlands really came through, and she made the whole experience feel special from start to finish. Great experience
Today we took a Highlands tour with Diana, and it was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Not only was she incredibly passionate about sharing the history, culture, and details of every stop along the way, but she was also kind, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the entire journey. Her enthusiasm made every location come alive, and her knowledge added so much value to the experience. Visiting the Highlands is a must if you come to Edinburgh, and if you have the opportunity, make sure to do it with Diana. She truly made this trip unforgettable.

Colin is the best!
It was a long day but we covered so much territory - the journey was full of interesting facts and discussions! Colin balanced the driving with stopping to stretch legs and check out views and buy souvenirs. The trip was very well thought out. He made sure to check that we were getting the experience we wanted and was so great with the kids (10 and 12) — he was delightful! Highly recommend!
