Authentic Argentinian Cooking Lesson - Saul makes this a great time!
Cooking lesson with Saul in his home, a great way to spend an afternoon in Buenos Aires. Saul is warm, a great conversationalist, and the setting in his own house made the whole experience feel authentic rather than staged. We made traditional Argentinian dishes, everything came out great, and the wine paired with it was excellent. The lesson ran just the right length, not rushed, not dragged out. Highly recommend if you want a real, personal food experience in the city.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this — it really made my day! Cooking together and then sitting down to enjoy it all with some wine is my favorite part of these afternoons, so I'm so glad that came through. Hope our paths cross again next time you're in Buenos Aires!

An Unforgettable Culinary Experience with an Amazing Chef
Por supuesto. Acá tenés una traducción natural, con un tono que suena como una reseña escrita por un hablante nativo: We had an amazing experience with Saul. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcome and comfortable. He welcomed us into a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The cooking class was very well organized, and Saul proved to be not only a talented chef but also an excellent teacher. He explained every step clearly, answered all of our questions with patience, and shared many useful tips and techniques that we’ll definitely use in the future. Beyond preparing delicious dishes, we truly enjoyed the conversation and the passion with which he shared his knowledge. It was a fun, personalized, and enriching experience from beginning to end. We would absolutely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone—especially couples—looking to learn new cooking skills while enjoying a unique and memorable culinary experience. Thank you, Saul, for an unforgettable evening!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this, it really made my day. Having you two in the kitchen was just as fun for me as it was for you — you were curious, easygoing, and open to everything, which honestly makes all the difference in a class like this. I'm glad the tips are sticking with you, that's exactly the goal, cooking that you can actually take home and keep using. And yeah, for me it's never just about the food, it's the whole night, the conversation, the laughs in between steps. Really means a lot that you'd recommend it to other couples. Hope our paths cross again in the kitchen sometime. Thank you again!

Deep dive into Argentine cuisine
Four of us (two retired couples) shared an evening with Saul in his kitchen. He shared with us some secrets to making a typical three-course Argentine meal. Saul was organized, patient and thoroughly professional - and the food was delicious! We recommend this experience to anyone who would like to take an enjoyable "deep dive" into Argentine cuisine.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this kind review! It was a real joy sharing my kitchen and a bit of Argentine culinary tradition with you. So glad you enjoyed the food and the experience! Hope to have you back someday — the kitchen is always open! 🙌🍷

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Hands-On Argentine Cooking Class with Wine & Local Host: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.
How much does Private Hands-On Argentine Cooking Class with Wine & Local Host cost?
+
Prices start at $105 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Hands-On Argentine Cooking Class with Wine & Local Host take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.
Is Private Hands-On Argentine Cooking Class with Wine & Local Host worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 233 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Hands-On Argentine Cooking Class with Wine & Local Host?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Hands-On Argentine Cooking Class with Wine & Local Host suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Hands-On Argentine Cooking Class with Wine & Local Host?
+
Around 82 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Hands-On Argentine Cooking Class with Wine & Local Host start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?
+
On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
