Great private tour in a luxury SUV
This was an excellent private tour. Our host Andres was very knowledgeable and accommodating. While we booked a half day tour Toledo, we requested to go off the beaten path and see windmills in a small town about a half an hour away form Toledo. In Toledo Andres took us to a back alley tapas bar, which felt very authentic . After that, we walked around the walled city learning about Spanish history. We visited 2 nice shops and bought a local ceramic plate and jewelry. When we ready to go, we let him know, and he took us back to Madrid in his luxury Land Rover SUV. Overall, a top-notch experience and well worth the expense.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your detailed review, John! We’re glad you enjoyed the experience in Toledo and that Andrés helped make the day both informative and flexible. Going off the beaten path and adapting the tour to what you’re looking for is something we really value, so it’s great to hear you appreciated those moments—especially the windmills stop and the tapas spot. We also appreciate your note about the comfort of the vehicle; we aim to make the whole experience smooth from start to finish. Thanks again for choosing us, and we hope to see you back in Spain in the future. Best regards, Tours from Madrid Team

Fantastic Toledo highlights
Since it was a private tour, we were able to substitute a big portion of walking tour in Toledo to go see Cervantes La Mancha windmills. Andres was a terrific driver and tour guide

We're very glad you enjoyed the visit to the La Mancha windmills — it's a unique stop that adds a lot of character to the day. Flexibility is one of the key advantages of our private tours, and we’re happy we could adapt the itinerary to your interests. Andrés will be especially pleased to hear your comments — he truly enjoys sharing these stories and landscapes. We hope to welcome you again soon to explore more of Spain! Best Private tour in Spain! Don't miss out on the windmills
Touring the Windmills of Don Quixote was the highlight of our trip to Spain. We had an excellent guide/driver. Private tours are the way to go! Thank you for a wonderful day, Joan. We really enjoyed learning the history along the way. Highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the review! I will make sure Joan read it also! Best regards,

HOLIDAYS IN SPAIN MADRID AND ANDALUSIA
In our time in Madrid we wanted to visit some of the nearby cities. We booked a tour to Avila and Segovia and it was fantastic. We ask what to do after as we had 2 more days left in Madrid and they offer to do this new tour. Fantastic! We see the Palace in Aranjuez and the gardens, then the charming town of Chinchon and finally head to see the windmills, my son studied Spanish in the school and he read the book of Quixote, so he was very excited! Our driver Joan give us very good information, talk with us all the trip and make the day very entertain and informative. We definitely recommend this tour. Hope we can return to Madrid soon.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the review, we just launch this product this month and we are really happy you enjoy! Hope to see you back in Spain soon!!

Private Half-Day Toledo Tour from Madrid with Cathedral Ticket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.
How much does Private Half-Day Toledo Tour from Madrid with Cathedral Ticket cost?
+
Prices start at $22 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Half-Day Toledo Tour from Madrid with Cathedral Ticket take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.
Is Private Half-Day Toledo Tour from Madrid with Cathedral Ticket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Half-Day Toledo Tour from Madrid with Cathedral Ticket?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Half-Day Toledo Tour from Madrid with Cathedral Ticket suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Half-Day Toledo Tour from Madrid with Cathedral Ticket?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Half-Day Toledo Tour from Madrid with Cathedral Ticket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Madrid?
+
On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Madrid?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Madrid?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
