A Perfect Day
I had a wonderful day with Sasho, and feel really lucky that he was my guide! We talked all day as we visited the sites on this tour, and it was very interesting and entertaining. Sasho was very professional, he was a considerate driver, his English is OUTSTANDING, and you can tell he's passionate about his line of work and about his lovely country. I'll always think fondly of this day when I reminisce about my time in Macedonia, and I know I'll miss my new friend too. Definitely try to go on this tour while in Skopje! It's a great way to see the countryside and some interesting places outside of the city, and to have a local tell you the important details and information about these places takes traveling to another more-fulfilling level. I wish I had more time with Sasho, so I'll just have to come back to Macedonia.

A very diverse and interesting day
What a great tour with both excellent guide (Marija) and driver (Mikael). We started at the stone dolls and Marija used to the drive there to tell me about the fascinating history of the country. The stone dolls are definitely worth a visit, especially when you get the stories connected to them :-) Afterwards, we visited Kratovo, saw the medieval towers, the beautiful houses, the bridges and so much more! Marija showed me a lot of interesting places in different parts of the city. She was very attentive to my interests, perfectly matched her speed to accommodate mine, showed me the best places to take pictures and shared so much background info with me. Combined with the relaxed driving style and those two very friendly, open and welcoming people it was a perfect day, thank you so much!
