Great tour

Very professional driver, excellent tour guide who gave us all the interesting historic facts about Dubai, good advice about buying in the market, fun and interesting but professional.

Disappointed

First of all the driver/tour guide was 1 hour late. Then the van was dirty. Driver/tour guide was not dressed.professionally. He was knowledgeable, courteous and knew all the answers to our questions. A stop to a rug place was unnecessary. Then we stopped by this restaurant where he got coffee, Dirty place. We did not see the tallest building - Kalifa, All in all for the price is just ok. You would be better off doing the hop on hop off buses.

Response from the operator: Hi, You were informed of the pick up time which wat 3:00 to 3:15. The driver arrived at your hotel at 3:35 pm. That was not 1 hour late. All the information regarding the timing adjustment was sent and informed to your in advance and you have acknowledge it. Thanks!

Disappointed

No memorable parts. Driver did not take us to shopping mall, mosque, souk Commentary was minimal - no history, enthusiasm. Driver spoke on his phone and text on more than one occasion . Only stop that was interesting tried to sell us things.

Response from the operator: Hi, Thank you for your feedback. Your reviews is important to us. Moreover, this is not a shopping tour and there’s no shopping malls in the itinerary . For some instances that there are vendors trying to sell you can always say NO. And you were looking out for malls but when someone tries to sell things you felt it was not appropriate. Regard

Don't book with this company

We booked private half day sightseeing tour of Dubai in February this year. The driver was late. He did apologize but then he said he will be our tour guide. Well, he wasn't a guide at all, his English wasn't good enough and all he could do is naming the sights. I ended up reading information from my guide book to my party. It was a rip off, don't book with this company.

Response from the operator: Hi Vavilon, We’re so sorry that your experience did not match your expectations. We’re normally known for our exceptional attention to detail, and we regret that we missed the mark. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us

It exceeded my expectations.

I booked while I was in Oman, but they were very responsive and picked me up without worry. It was a very satisfying half-day, taking in some of the promise from the tour.

Response from the operator: Hi Shoichi, Thank you for your feedback on our Morning Desert Safari Dubai with Camel Ride and Sand boarding Dubai: Morning Desert Safari We appreciate you for providing us the opportunity to serve you and we promise to make sure every experience we provide is a satisfying and enticing journey. Hope you enjoyed the camel ride and sand boarding on top the amazing dune bashing that we provided. Thank you for the word of recommendation. Have a great time!

Private Half Day Dubai City Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubai.

How much does Private Half Day Dubai City Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Half Day Dubai City Tour take?

+

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubai is not rushed.

Is Private Half Day Dubai City Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Half Day Dubai City Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Half Day Dubai City Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Half Day Dubai City Tour?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubai and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Half Day Dubai City Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubai?

+

On Outty we rank every Dubai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubai Premium Red Dunes Safari, Camels & 5* BBQ at Al Khayma Camp, Dubai: Red Dunes Safari, Quad, Camel, Dune Bash, BBQ & Shows, Dubai Dune Buggy Safari Tour in Red Dunes Options. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubai?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubai?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
