One of the best guides and tours we’ve ever done, anywhere!
We had a truly wonderful full-day tour of the Cape with Jean. It was a perfect experience for a family or small group wanting an intimate, personalized tour at their own pace. Right from the start, Jean’s passion for and knowledge of the Cape area and South Africa is immediately apparent, and it makes him a truly exceptional guide. We learned so much from Jean as we travelled from one stop to the next, and are grateful for all the facts and insights that he shared with us. We also really appreciated Jean’s willingness to tailor the tour to our interests and spend more time at some of the spots we were most interested in, like with the penguins at Boulders Beach! Incredible day - Thank you Jean!
What a day!! Jean Marie was an fabulous guide and buddy for the day. From the moment he pulled up to pick us up at our flat to the moment he bid us goodbye Jean was so friendly and warm, incredibly knowledgeable of the region and history of South Africa. He was so wonderful with our two children, 11 and 13, indulging all of their questions along the way. We had beautiful weather for our tour, though incredibly windy and Jean navigated that we'll for the best experience for us. It was so notable to us the way that others (workers and fellow tour guides) he knew at the attractions received him, making it so clear what a genuine person he was.

Great tour with wise and helpful gentleman
Jean was the best possible guide for a day long adventure through Cape Town down the peninsula to the penguins and Cape of Good Hope. He gave us a running commentary on the history and significance of the many places we saw on the way. And he handled all the logistics so that we were able to just focus on the beauty of the day! A lovely gentleman we’re glad to have spent the day with!!

Knowledgeable and adventurous
Jean-Marie was cheerful, adventurous, knowledgeable, and great at making conversation! My mom and I got more out of this day than we could have ever hoped for. He had all kinds of little stories and tips about the many sites we visited. He was also flexible and adapted the schedule when we wanted to spend more/less time at certain places.
